Shooting Cuomo in the Face?

Date: March 13, 2009

…Yellow Journalism at it’s best…

…Yellow Journalism at it’s best…

“A $10,000 Internet bounty was placed on Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s head by a suspected agent of the North American Man/Boy Love Association, The Post has learned.

The shocking death threat by the infamous organization of pederasts was posted three weeks ago on an Internet news-group bulletin board that originated in The Bronx, law-enforcement sources said.”

Okay…

…So, an unnamed, newsgroup bulletin board had a message posted to it anonymously…and it claimed to be from someone in NAMBLA?

Uh huh…

…and, why exactly did anyone conclude that this message “was” issued by NAMBLA?

It seems NAMBLA has been judged and condemned here, without even the first shred of evidence, linking anyone in that organisation to the alleged crime.

…and the attorney generals office, along with other law enforcement, accepted this as an opportunistic chance to get subpoenas, search warrants and launch an investigation?….

Uh huh…

Quite curious…especially since it is a fairly well understood phenomena, that people who hate someone in politics (power) so much that they would issue a threat, will often hide behind a fake identity…such as claiming to be someone you are not.

I it is also fairly common, for NAMBLA to be the butt of many jokes, performed in bad taste.

If some nameless bozo decides to post assassination threats against President Obama, and sign the message under the name, “Steve Diamond”…does this suddenly mean that “I” am a suspect?

See…

…Here is the thing…

This “news” story has the word “stupid” written all over it.

It is baseless…and yellow journalism, at best.

It is written for an audience, that is to shallow and naive to think things through clearly…and spot the holes in this story.

If this happened three weeks ago, to somebody as high up as the attorney general, then they have had plenty of time to investigate (and believe me, they would have thoroughly done so by now). It is a matter of public record, anymore, who the NAMBLA steering committee is…and some NAMBLA members are already on “sex offender” lists, and on a leash, able to be legally visited and searched anytime.

…yet, the investigation lead to a dead end…

…and this dumb, rag sheet…what is it called?…

…The New York Post….

They run this story, and talk about it as though it is some “smoking gun”, or shocking “case of the decade”…

Excuse me?!…

…Are both the reporter and the editor really to dumb, to understand that this was almost certainly a stupid hoax, done by some idiot with an internet connection, and to much time on their hands?

You know…

…There have been a few people out there, who have falsely claimed to be “me”, and tried to impersonate me…and they certainly did not say things which “I” would have ever expressed.

I combated that by completely ignoring them, and not letting them get a rise out of me (which is what they wanted)…

…but, that does not mean that there are not unwary others out there, who do not know me for who I really am, and who think they have gotten a first impression from me, when it actually came from a malicious impostor.

Think, think, think people!

That “news” story is just stupid…

…which I am sure, is why only dumb tabloids would run with it.

…Well…msnbc, too…

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29593394/

I don’t know who is dumb enough, to leave identification of any form, in a public death threat.

I don’t know who is dumb enough, to seek out an assassination contract, on a newsgroup bulletin board.

I cannot believe that a group which has been so careful all of these years, would do something so stupid…

…Plus, there is the issue of true conspiracy…

Last I’d heard, NAMBLA had several hundred members…Who of these members assembled, voted and commissioned this alleged “agent”, to seek out an assassin on behalf of the entire organisation?

This whole story, is far to stupid to be believable.

Even if it were a NAMBLA member behind the message…you are going to have to connect an enormous number of dots, in order to make the case, that “NAMBLA” as a group is behind it, and endorses it.

…and that is a very big “if”.

This sound more like a manufactured investigation…I would not be the least bit surprised, if it turned out some zealot nut job posted the message, in conjunction with some other pious jerk who reported it to the authorities.

I would not put it past certain law enforcement officers, for them to have written the message themselves, as a convenient excuse to start a new, baseless investigation.

It reminds me of one of the dirty secrets, whenever reporters want to do a hatchet job on online forums, like BoyChat…

…Since there is rarely anything posted there by the normal participants, that is especially shocking…often times, the reporters, themselves, will make posts anonymously to the board, leaving messages asking for child porn, wanting to meet children…you know…all the stuff that us real “pedophiles” know better, than to be doing in the first place…and then they film the computer screen, or take screen captures, and “show the world, the shocking messages that they found while visiting”…

…Only, they fail to tell the audience, that “they” are the actual ones who planted it there, in the first place.

Go ahead…

…laugh and call me a liar…

…but we have verified cases, where this has happened.

These kinds of cases stink of deception.
