At least somebody out there, still knows how to make a great, album cover…and album art… Clearly, an exhibition of a wonderful boy, in the midst of a wonderful moment of exhilarating freedom… This art, really captures one of the purest joys of boyhood…totally beautiful… This requires a smidgen of wandering…down the page… Of course, this group is not from the USA… |

…visiting this blog, to find out that the media is down [again]…
It kind of killed my enthusiasm last week, when I visited…because, I couldn’t post any new music…
Oh well…wait a day or two…I’m sure it will be back.
I’m wondering, if this is what I can expect from hence forth, or if blog.com is going to address this problem…Maybe, it’s unavoidable, too…Who knows?
Anyway…I’ll probably dump a bunch of posts here, soon…I’m getting backed up, with stuff I wrote…but didn’t post…but, it’s all organised and numbered [so I can keep track of the order, in which everything was posted]…If the “schedule post” feature actually worked here…this would not be an issue…
I just hate dumping a bunch of posts here, all at once…I feel like, each post should get at least a day or two at [or near] the top of the blog…
Anyway, I wanted to make a post, and let people know I’m still here…I’ve just been preoccupied, with a new toy…a piece of video encoding hardware [and the software that came with it]…cool stuff…
It’s getting harder to make posts, on days that I work…So, I usually just do so, on my days off…which are becoming more scarce, themselves.
So much about my life, is just very, very frustrating, right now.
…Yet, I have in mind another new idea, for this blog [which is something I was going to do, on my website]…I think it will be good…Stay tuned…

Date: August 8, 2010 Are muslims honestly, “numbering in the billions”?… Having grown up, deeply embroiled in a religion…I’ve come to understand some things about organized religion… There is a wide diversity, in the people you encounter, who identify with “your” religion… Not all of them take the principles, or “holy texts” equally seriously, or are willing to fight over them so passionately. A lot of people, in fact, take it all in stride… …and many, are just people who are there…out of dumb fate, and through no fault of their own. Often, the source of conformity, and self identifying with that religion…comes down to a simple factor of social pressure…sometimes, even threats of various degree… …But, the religion, itself…is not something, which the individual is personally interested in following… They are just doing so, because they fear being thrown out of their home…being ostracized from their community…being assaulted…maybe, being murdered…being politically treated, as an unequal… Eventually, we have to acknowledge…that like christianity, islam also has it’s “lip service muslims”…it’s “muslims of duress”…or even it’s “muslims of convenience”… …people who do not honestly believe in islam, yet outwardly swear an oath to it, because they fear retaliation against themselves [and family]…or believe, they can exploit islam, for personal gain. Is it “not” blasphemy, for someone to commit a false act of muslim faith, or to bare a false muslim testimony? Is this “not” a mockery of islam? How do you contend, with knowing that so many are not muslims of free will? …and some, are even lying about it… They are infidels, posing as muslims… Is this “not” self defeating? …and how will you ever know what the true numbers are, when “your” world is to intolerant, to put down the guns, whips, clubs and rocks…and just let people think for themselves? |

01) Muslim Discussion [Unavailable]
Since I know this is an issue many people are prone to get offended over, let me clarify something here. Yes, I know Muslims are diverse and many want nothing to do with global dominance and global theocracy. This point, however, does not nullify the fact that there are extremists Muslims who want that very exact thing. Whenever I discuss issues like this, making statements like these which follow…I’m not talking about the former…I’m talking about the latter.
I expect the topic of this video, was how it’s considered “off limits” to criticize Muslims, and express genuine concerns over aggressive Muslims with a theocratic agenda getting elected into government.
Many people frame this as “racist” or “paranoid”…and, indeed, there is much in here I personally wrestle with, being in a demonized minority myself…I don’t want to go down that road, demonizing other people…
…But those kinds of responses side step the fundamental question…what to do about religious extremists, who are working their way into governments we all have to live with?
That is a real issue, regardless of what religion anyone is involved with.

I think, it’s because islamic influence is still thought of as, “over there, but not here”…
Muslims are minorities here…and hence, they are thought to be a weak, political force…much like pagans…or, even just foreigners, without political power.
What I have my eye on, is the explosion of muslim immigration to the USA…and their population over here, during the last few decades…has been skyrocketing.
They can become legal, U.S. citizens…and even if not…then if nothing else, their children will be natural U.S. citizens, so long as they are born here.
They can run for political office…and if there is a large enough muslim population in the U.S., they can get a lot of their own people into our government…in positions, where they can just absolutely rape this country.
Even if they don’t have majority control, they can cause a lot of problems, politically…socially…
The U.S. Constitution is not immune, to being circumvented…and certainly not from being amended…
This is a troubling reality, that people need to keep in mind…
I think, this is the islamic “world domination” strategy”, that has been going on for some time now.
Theocracy does not always get spread, through naked violence.

Date: August 1, 2010 This is a new template, for a new “sub-blog”… This will be the home, of old writings I’ve done over the years… Potentially, some of what will show up here, may be over a decade old…though, I may be unable to date it, precisely. This is really a glimpse into the past…and some of my viewpoints have evolved, considerably…I may discuss this, as such issues arise. While I am on the issue, I want to just say one thing about all the content I’ve written and lost, over the years… In my very early days, I saved nothing… Within a year, I’d started experimenting with, and developing, websites…[“Steve-D’s Home Page” on GoPlay, “Steve-D’s Faith and Reflections” on FreeYellow, “Steve-D’s Midnight Zone” on Talk City, “The Midnight Archives”, Etc.]. I saved quite a lot of my writing, from that point onward…because I was going to ad some of it to a website. Tragically, I did not own a computer in those days, and my only option for saving such content, was to copy and paste it into a private, online service, that could save it for me…I chose my eudoramail account…which worked great, until they switched the software they were running on…This screwed up many of these files, and even made some irretrievable. I was literally sickened, and heartbroken, over five or six, specific articles, that were lost in this manner…and would love to have them, today. …But, I still do have, a good bit of content from that time era…Not nearly as much as I’d like [and a wider range in scope, would have been nice, also]…but…there are still a lot of really good bits, in there. Some of these might seem a bit jumbled…Some of them are contrary to my present viewpoints…A lot of them, are direct responses to specific people [at BoyChat, ClosEncounters, and other forums]… I hope people will find this to be an interesting journey into the past…and, maybe, it will revive some old discussions on relevant issues. |
