This is actually one of the enormous reasons, why it is so hard for people like us to engage and get involved with social politics. There is always some established group, who opposes your views…and if you become a meaningful presence, you become a target.

…They just need to know what sensitive information exists in your closet.

Many decent people with valid and just causes have been destroyed, by the politics game itself.
