One Atheist Responding to Saudi King Abdullah…

Date: April 29, 2014

The very first sign of this I was pointed towards was published on April first, of 2014…So, in the back of my mind, I was thinking this might be an April Fools Day joke…

…So, I put this on the back burner, to wait and see what else would surface.

…At the end of the month, I decided to survey findings from a search engine…Apparently, this ghastly absurdity is no joke.

…Saudi Arabia declares all atheists are terrorists in new law to crack down on political dissidents…

“Atheists, peaceful protesters and those who go to fight abroad have all been brought under the auspices of new “anti-terror” laws”

“Saudi Arabia has introduced a series of new laws which define atheists as terrorists, according to a report from Human Rights Watch.”

“Article one of the new provisions defines terrorism as “calling for atheist thought in any form, or calling into question the fundamentals of the Islamic religion on which this country is based”.

Joe Stork, deputy Middle East and North Africa director of Human Rights Watch, said: “Saudi authorities have never tolerated criticism of their policies, but these recent laws and regulations turn almost any critical expression or independent association into crimes of terrorism.

“These regulations dash any hope that King Abdullah intends to open a space for peaceful dissent or independent groups,” Mr Stork said.”

…New laws in Saudi Arabia declare that atheists are terrorists…

“A rash of new laws issued in Saudi Arabia aim to blot out all political dissent — and in one case defines atheists as terrorists. The series of laws began in January of 2014. At the end of last month, Human Rights Watch issued a report explaining that “a series of related royal decrees create a legal framework that appears to criminalize virtually all dissident thought or expression as terrorism.”

…Saudi Arabia declares atheists terrorists under new laws targeting citizens who ‘call for secular thought in any form’…

“Saudi Arabia has officially identified atheists as terrorists in sweeping new laws that threaten up to 20 years in prison for almost any criticism of the government or Islam.

The regulations place secular citizens who commit thought crimes in the same category as violent terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda’s Yemen branch and Saudi Hezbollah.

Under the new decree by King Abdullah, Saudi Arabia will jail for up to 20 years anyone who fights in conflicts abroad – an apparent move to deter Saudis from joining rebels in Syria.

But the law also applies to any Saudi citizen or a foreigner residing in the kingdom that ‘calls for atheist thought in any form or calls into question the fundamentals of the Islamic religion on which this country is based.’

The laws have been denounced by human rights groups for making no distinction between religious expression and violent extremism.”

“Those who swear allegiance to any party, organisation, current of thought, group or individual inside or outside the kingdom are also included in the provisions. The Muslim Brotherhood and various Al Qaeda factions are also among those on the list.”

“The legislation will address those who return with newfound training and ideas about overthrowing the monarchy.

Participation via forms of audio, written, visual media, social media, websites are all included in the definition.

Blogging for Al-Bab, Brian Whitaker writes that while the new laws might seem bizarre, “in Saudi terms it does have a certain logic. Since the entire system of government is based on Wahhabi interpretations of Islam, non-believers are assumed to be enemies of the Saudi state.”

“While the law cites violence as an essential element only in reference to attacks carried out against Saudis outside the kingdom or aboard Saudi transportation carriers, crucially it states that inside its borders, “terrorism” can be non-violent.

It can consist of “any act” intended to, among other things, to “insult the reputation of the state”, “harm public order”, or shake the security of society” – none of which the law clearly defines.”

…Saudi Arabia: New Terrorism Regulations Assault Rights [Human Rights Watch]…

…Saudi Arabia: New Terrorism Regulations Assault Rights [Human Rights Watch]…

“The new regulations come amid a campaign to silence independent activists and peaceful dissidents through intimidation, investigations, arrests, prosecutions, and imprisonment. On March 9, the prominent human rights activists Abdullah al-Hamid and Mohammed al-Qahtani completed their first year in prison, serving 11 and 10-year sentences, respectively, for criticizing the government’s human rights abuses and for membership in an unlicensed political and civil rights organization.

Two other human rights activists, Waleed Abu al-Khair and Mikhlif al-Shammari, recently lost appeals and will probably begin their three-month and five-year respective sentences soon for criticizing Saudi authorities.

On January 31, Saudi authorities promulgated the Penal Law for Crimes of Terrorism and its Financing (the “terrorism law”). The law has serious flaws, including vague and overly broad provisions that allow authorities to criminalize free expression, and the creation of excessive police powers without judicial oversight. The law cites violence as an essential element only in reference to attacks carried out against Saudis outside the kingdom or onboard Saudi transportation carriers. Inside the kingdom, “terrorism” can be non-violent – consisting of “any act” intended to, among other things, “insult the reputation of the state,” “harm public order,” or “shake the security of society,” which the law fails to clearly define.”

• Article 1: “Calling for atheist thought in any form, or calling into question the fundamentals of the Islamic religion on which this country is based.”
• Article 2: “Anyone who throws away their loyalty to the country’s rulers, or who swears allegiance to any party, organization, current [of thought], group, or individual inside or outside [the kingdom].”
• Article 4: “Anyone who aids [“terrorist”] organizations, groups, currents [of thought], associations, or parties, or demonstrates affiliation with them, or sympathy with them, or promotes them, or holds meetings under their umbrella, either inside or outside the kingdom; this includes participation in audio, written, or visual media; social media in its audio, written, or visual forms; internet websites; or circulating their contents in any form, or using slogans of these groups and currents [of thought], or any symbols which point to support or sympathy with them.”
• Article 6: “Contact or correspondence with any groups, currents [of thought], or individuals hostile to the kingdom.”
• Article 8: “Seeking to shake the social fabric or national cohesion, or calling, participating, promoting, or inciting sit-ins, protests, meetings, or group statements in any form, or anyone who harms the unity or stability of the kingdom by any means.”
• Article 9: “Attending conferences, seminars, or meetings inside or outside [the kingdom] targeting the security of society, or sowing discord in society.”
• Article 11: “Inciting or making countries, committees, or international organizations antagonistic to the kingdom.”

“Al-Qahtani and al-Hamid’s convictions included charges such as “breaking allegiance with the ruler,” “slandering the religiosity and integrity of the Supreme Council of Religious Scholars,” “sowing discord,” and “attempting to shake the internal security of the country by calling for demonstrations.” The new terrorism regulations classify several of these charges as acts of terrorism.

Other members of their organization, the Saudi Civil and Political Rights Association (ACPRA), are serving sentences for convictions on similar charges, including Mohammed al-Bajadi, Omar al-Saeed, and Abd al-Kareem al-Khodr. A jailed member, Fowzan al-Harbi, is on trial before the Riyadh Criminal Court on charges that include “participating in calling for and inciting breaking allegiance with the ruler,” “explicit libel of the integrity and religiosity of the Supreme Council of Religious Scholars,” “participating in setting up an unlicensed organization” – namely, ACPRA – “publishing details of his investigation,” and “describing the ruling Saudi regime – unjustly – as a police state.”

“On March 10, the SPA reported the conviction of another man, with a 10-year prison sentence and a 100,000 riyal fine ($26,600), for “engaging in following, saving, and resending inciting tweets on the social networking site (Twitter) against the rulers, religious scholars, and government agencies and his connection to people who call themselves reformists…”

Another human rights activist, Fadhil al-Manasif, who played a leading role in documenting abuses against demonstrators in the Eastern Province in 2011, is on trial for “sowing discord,” “inciting public opinion against the state,” and “communicating with foreign news agencies to exaggerate news and harm the reputation of the kingdom.”

And Riyadh-based human rights activists, Mohammed al-Otaibi and Abdullah al-Attawi, who came under investigation in April 2013 for co-founding a new human rights organization – The Union for Human Rights – face a new investigation based on their human rights activities.”

“While protecting public order and national security are recognized in international human rights law as legitimate purposes for limiting certain rights under narrow and clearly-defined circumstances, vague and overly broad legal provisions cannot be the basis for overriding a broad array of fundamental rights. Provisions of Saudi Arabia’s new terrorism regulations that deny any ability to exercise basic rights of peaceful assembly, association, and expression greatly exceed any notion of justifiable restrictions, Human Rights Watch said.

Commenting on article 6 of the regulation, one activist told Human Rights Watch on March 12: “Just talking to you now is considered terrorism – I could be prosecuted as a terrorist for this conversation.”

Apparently…we are witnessing a dictatorship in it’s death throws…Because this is an act of clear desperation.

If your regime’s standing is so fragile that it cannot stand up to any criticism…it is time to step aside, and admit that you are not fit to lead a nation.

Given the Saudi families penchant for extreme retaliation, against anybody under it’s control who does not kiss it’s behind and remain completely obedient…It is insane for anyone from that family, or from anywhere…to be pointing a finger at others [especially, entirely innocent others], and calling them “terrorists”.

The Saudi family’s pattern of behavior has far more legitimate claim, to being recognized as terrorism…than the actions of atheists, who speak out against said behaviors…who offer a legitimate resistance, to those human rights abuses.

Calling atheists “terrorists”, is an act of cowardice…it establishes that King Abdullah is out of touch with reality…drunk and crazed on his own power…desperate to keep hold, of power and wealth which never rightly belonged to him or his family, in the first place.

This is the same old, tired story, of the so called elite class against the rest of mankind…Some other man, always fancies themselves above the rest of us…with unquestionable authority and self righteous entitlement.

…It will be interesting to watch the Saudi family fall…though disturbing to contemplate, what might take their place.

…I have one more thing to say…It is a personal message.

Second Class Boy Scouts: Captive Gay Youth in the Boy Scouts?…

Date: April 22, 2014

…Boy Scout Troop Loses Charter Over Gay Leader…

…Boy Scout Troop Loses Charter Over Gay Leader…

The Boy Scouts of America, which voted last year to allow gay scouts but not openly gay scout leaders, has revoked the charter of a church-sponsored troop here for refusing to fire its adult gay scoutmaster.

The decision, which one gay rights organization said was a first since the policy change last year, essentially bars the Rainier Beach United Methodist Church and its 15 scouts from using logos, uniforms or names associated with the Boy Scouts as long as the scoutmaster and Eagle Scout Geoffrey McGrath, 49, remains in charge.

You know, this is curious…

…Because it seems to me, by taking in homosexual youth while barring homosexual adults…the Boy Scouts of America [BSA] is actively cutting off an important exposure to role models…You know, people these minority kids can look at, and identify with…the “He’s just like me!” epiphany…maybe, learn a bit of dignified self worth from…dare I say, belonging and pride?

…Just when you thought the fighting with the BSA was over…a hair has been split…

I guess…in all fairness, the BSA never said they would accept open homosexual adults…But what is the implication of this?

…A lot of homosexual youth, who they previously did not want…are now welcomed in…and brought into a social structure, maintained under the anti-homosexual control of BSA leaders…

Has the BSA relented, with the idea in their heads that they can take in confused kids and push them towards a heterosexual life?…Is that “the concession”, which the BSA took away from all of this?

I am not making the accusation…I am just asking the natural question…

I grew up in a deeply religious institution…And I’ve experienced first hand, how many religious leaders think, when it comes to “recruiting sinners”. Trying to pull people [children included] out of their natural environment and into a secluded, highly structured environment, one which caters solely to the visions of some religious group…in order to mold these “sinners” into the image of said religious group…

…This situation with the BSA, gives me the same kind of feeling…”Get their control over the young, while they can still be easily manipulated…and work on them, in order to change them”…

When religious concepts of heaven, hell, eternal souls and damnation come into the picture…this can have extremely bad, long term psychological consequences, for sexual minority kids.

What the BSA is doing…it looks like just another psychological minefield, homosexual boys are liable to get dragged through.

…What a total crying shame, that some humans cannot bring themselves to be better humans.

Maybe as one commenter I saw somewhere said…it is time for the BSA to close it’s doors, go away, and allow better organizations to fill the void?

…BSA leadership is stuck in the past…Maybe, it’s time to evolve into the present?

Standing For Something…

Date: April 22, 2014

…What do you stand for in all of this?…

…What do you stand for in all of this?…

…I come here because…

  • Under no circumstances should people who have been forced to forgo their own natural rights, be expected to relinquish their ability to talk about the impact of this and what they want for the future.
  • Under no circumstances should people who have stripped others of their natural rights, be allowed to live in the ignorant fantasy that they have not deeply and intimately violated others.
  • Even if we accept the “greater good of society” argument…once voice and expression of those on the short end of the stick gets silenced, this is no longer a situation where legitimate decisions and conclusions even can be made. Any decisions to tare something out of the lives of some class of people, is invalid and not a decision of the population…because many of the effected and concerned segments of that population, have been omitted from the very process of social arbitration. They typically don’t even get concessions or recognition, for what they have lost and what has been done to them.
  • People suffering this fate need and deserve the dignity, to hold, live and promote their own social identity.
  • They also need a social framework of peers, who can advise them…people who know what they are going through…

I come here and go other places, because one of the things sorely missing in this world…is the voice of the Child Lover and Teen Lover…indeed, the voice of the child and the teen…My experience is that this social imbalance needs to be corrected…So, I live this social change by adding to that missing voice.

Now…it may be true that I am guilty of mostly showing up here, to share thoughts about social and sexual issues…or just to soak in some social companionship with old friends…

…but I’ve always believed that we should fundamentally be here for the Child Lovers and Teen Lovers [be they BoyLover or Girl-Lover], who are in need or peril…I think, as a group with some sort of resources and wherewithal…that is our first issue of stewardship…being a human port, for those of us who have nowhere else to go.

  • Pedophiles Are Dumping Grounds For The Ill Deeds of Sadists, Now?…

    Date: April 22, 2014

    …More evul peedophile propaganda…

    …More evul peedophile propaganda…

…Disturbing new internet child abuse sees toddlers raped and burned live on webcam as paedophiles use Bitcoin to stop being traced, warns police chief…

…Disturbing new internet child abuse sees toddlers raped and burned live on webcam as paedophiles use Bitcoin to stop being traced, warns police chief…

“One of Europe’s top police officers has warned of a sickening online trade in child torture porn.

Rob Wainwright, the director of Europol, said offenders are using the untraceable online currency Bitcoin to pay for depraved ‘shows’, performed live on webcams, which see young children raped and burned.

He said: ‘The level of depravity seems to be descending year on year, frankly, including what seems to be in vogue now, which is live webcam ‘shows’ of toddlers not just being raped but being burnt with cigarettes.”

This outrageous trend just never ends…

…So, now Rob Wainwright and his people have allegedly stumbled across some underground, likely small clique of sadists who are into abusing small children…

…And somehow, this is the fault of pedophiles?

What Rob Wainwright describes, is patently sadist behavior…It is not pedophilia.

The fact that these sadists allegedly chose children, is incidental…

Heck, truth be told…those were likely either the children of these sadists…or they were children, which these sadists had full access to…You know, situations like “the girlfriend’s kid”…or foster care horror stories…

Now, maybe there is a small sub-culture of pedophile sadists which exists…but sadism is in no way equivalent to pedophilia. These are two vastly different things…The world is large…If you keep looking long enough, eventually you find that even contradicting things will sometimes converge.

Thing is…what results is a sort of “hybrid”…which is not exactly one or the other…It’s issues and behaviors, are not the responsibility or fault, of whichever base minorities it is taking it’s roots from.

BitCoin [and the obsessive bemoaning of encryption] gets dragged into this, as well…making this propaganda piece a blatant, all out assault on internet privacy, as well…Not just another golden opportunity, to spread hate speech and drag pedophiles through the mud.

…That brings up another matter, which leaves me in dismay…these cops who have decided for themselves, that none of us should have competent and secure encryption…They either want it gone, or they want default back doors…either option would decimate commerce and privacy on the internet, and open the door wide for criminal activity…It would leave people much more vulnerable…This is not a question of “who has something to hide”, people…It’s a question of how long it takes the wrong people, to discover ways to exploit these back doors…and an endless treadmill, of trying to patch those holes.

…No thank you!…If you cannot even trust your encryption to actually keep you [and your content] safe…then you, effectively, don’t have encryption.

Cops do not have the right, to strip us of our encryption…And I am speaking as someone who has nothing of prosecutable value to hide…At this point in time, nothing I have can lead to grounds for legal prosecution. My own concern, is straight up personal privacy…and not allowing others to snoop through my entirely legal [if sometimes controversial], private files.

Lastly, I just wanted to respond to part of one commenters words…

“The sickening depravity of these people knows no bounds…”

This individual did not explicitly say they were referring to pedophiles…but given historic trends, I am hard pressed to conceive, what other group they might be aiming this comment at.

I wanted to state in no uncertain terms, what I know that pedosexuals like myself, who I have associated with for years, would also attest to…

…What is described in this “news” story, is not something in any way associated with my own interests or pursuits. I find the rape and torture of children to be deplorable and inhumane. Provided this case is real, then this is a prime example of a situation where intervention is required. The persons responsible for the literal rape and torture of children, deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.

Kindly do not presume that because we are pedosexuals [pedophiles], we somehow approve of or support this kind of behavior.

We don’t deserve to be blamed, for what a small handful of cruel sadists are allegedly doing to children.

Tarred and Feathered: A Second and Third Response…

    Date: April 21, 2014

Note: I thought the link to this episode might have gone dead by now, but it has not. It likely will, eventually. If you want to listen to it, I’d suggest doing so soon…maybe, even saving a copy for yourself…for later listening, and to share…Also, do look to the third response section, for a link to the interview transcript posted at BoyChat.

My presentation earlier was a bit rushed, because I was not really intending on making any post or writing much…but as stated, my hand was forced…This led to an unsatisfying post, for me.

    …So, I present two additions…

    …The Second…

    …The Second…

    …In Response to This…

    …In Response to This…

    Adam is young…

I agree that the self aggrandizing “better than you”, was a bit much to stomach…and I write off that behavior, to Adam’s age, lack of knowledge, unfound sense of peer empathy, and unrefined communication skills.

…Adam is simply not a good figurehead…He may evolve into something, eventually…but today, despite his weaknesses, he gets chosen because he fits a particular narrative being presented…which is particularly insulting, to any educated and knowledgeable pedosexual.

Of course, Adam was speaking to an audience, that was not necessarily “us”, or people even so much like “us”…or like himself, for that matter. He was catering to a specific sort of ideology.

Where as you or I [or any number of people here] can directly identify the holes in this interview…that interview was not produced for the informed and knowledgeable…which is why the standard of quality and integrity is so low…Who in the target audience is going to contest it? They can essentially say whatever they want…Most of the audience does not likely know any better.

    A few other thoughts…

I was a bit surprised, that they quoted Dr. Cantor, but failed to even identify him or his studies…I guess I should not be, given how this show doesn’t seem so much about public education, as about “inspirational stories” for entertainment value. The forum is just bad, for this type of issue.

To answer rabbit4boys…I happened onto this by accident, on it’s original airing date…while driving in my car. It was just on the radio. In fact, it initially caught my attention during the second segment, when they were sharing the story of a guy who got character assassinated, by some woman who did not like “the way he looked at girls” years earlier…She got successfully sued by this guy. So, I kind of flowed into this “Adam” story on a high note. As I was listening, I knew I needed this for sharing on my blog…so I stuck it out, and waited till the end of the show…so I could jot down the information, and find this online.

If nothing else, it is fertile ground for a public discussion…That is the value that it poses.

Unfortunately, “This American Life” only leaves a freely downloadable copy of their last show available, for the span of one week…Today might be the last day, you can go get it for free. So, my own hand was forced a bit, and I had to get it up on my blog, before I had a personal response I was entirely satisfied with, to go up with it…”time sensitive material”, and all.

Lastly, because I need to leave…I don’t know how I feel about this type of presentation in the media…It is better than the typical tripe…but “Adam” has an enormous amount to learn and experience…he is no expert…he is naïve…and he is a very poor choice for a spokesperson, to represent our larger minority…He clearly does not even understand much about our minority, and comes off as more someone who stumbled through a few things [“child porn addiction”, bad therapy and no place to turn for guidance], formed a tiny clique of like minded people…and somehow got pushed forward as “representative” of people like us.

…I guess, in some sense…maybe he is…because the majority of us likely are out there, isolated and undereducated about ourselves.

This is almost certainly a better setting than the one I fell into, several months back…and even though I likely still would not have done such an interview, I cannot help feeling I would have been a far more fitting candidate, than “Adam” is.

    …Interesting interview [The Transcript]…

    …Interesting interview [The Transcript]…

Thank you for this [randomx]. I will place a link at my blog.

One thing I kept forgetting to say about this case…is that I was left wondering, since they don’t even say…what happened to “Adam”, with regards to his child porn downloading. Obviously, if his mother never told anybody else, and nobody else knows…he was almost certainly never investigated by the police…hence, not on any registry…

Essentially…”Adam” is an individual admitting on national radio, to downloading large amounts of child pornography…but what have the consequences been?

I mean…is his therapist holding this over his head, “Follow as I say, or I am taking this to the police”?…

I am genuinely curious [dare I say, concerned], over whatever predicament “Adam” has found himself in, today.

I don’t blame him…After all, there is no road map or manual…and good advice is hard to come by…especially if you are not already in with good people…Given the “right” time, place and circumstances…”Adam” could have been just about any one of us, at some point in our own pasts.

…But he did expose his secrets, in a dangerous world…I am wondering about the consequences of this action…It just seems a relevant thing, especially given the subject of this episode.

If nothing else…”Adam” now has people he does not know he can trust, who know way to much about him…people who can hurt him…and he has to live with this, for the rest of his life…

…At 19 years of age, and with the initial exposure only in recent past, he has only begun to experience the consequence…”Adam” is likely to regret this very unfortunate move…He will be living under it, for the rest of his life. The consequences are never fully clear, early on…I’d like to know what he has to say, ten years from now.

If nothing else…this interview was okay, in helping highlight how isolated people like us are…and how hard [or impossible] it is, to attain competent mental health services in the event you need them.

It is also good to hear something outside the box…I appreciate hearing “Adam” point out the reality, that for him…it was no dirty or malicious pursuit [downloading child porn]…But, instead, it was exploring a sexuality which he found himself part of, and longing to partake in.

I am certain this is the case, for any number of people like us who have witnessed child pornography. There is nothing bad intended, or even conceived, in the act. It is just partaking in something, which is naturally appealing and beautiful to you. It is seeing something tender and sweet…and fun…In addition, it is also being able to distinguish between tenderness and violence [something our detractors almost never do].

It is tragic that “Adam” turned to shoddy, shallow research…which in turn, caused him to redefine his orientation into something so negative and traumatic. He fell for social conditioning.

We’ve all seen these studies and reports…

…Of course…the longer you stay around, and the deeper you dig…the more you start looking outside of your own culture…the closer you start looking at our own cases…the more you start realizing, this alleged universality of harm is a lie…And the more you realize, very different social issues are being conflated together, in order to socially manipulate minorities…Eventually, you witness more and more voices of integrity [including very knowledgeable, authoritative ones] being silenced, intimidated and injured for taking a [sometimes even light] stand…You experience an epiphany, on just how corrupt and manipulated this field honestly is…

…Before you know it, you’ve been studying this phenomena for years…a decade…even longer…and the cumulative weight of what you have discovered, and repeatedly reconfirmed over many years, is overwhelming in opposition to those who oppress us.

They attempt to silence voices like ours…because they do not like what the light of truth exposes about themselves, and about their own endeavors…which in reality, are not as lofty and good as many of them would have us believe they are.

Personally…I cannot unlearn all that I have grown to know…and I am glad that I took this journey.

“Adam” has clearly not yet taken this journey.

In all sincerity…there is an awful lot of anger and bitterness which is likely to come out of this journey…especially when this issue is so personal [and you know first hand, what it is like to live in it]…and the impact of this bitter anger, can be very heavy…even very destructive, if you are not mentally well grounded. Long term, it can harm your health…Long term, it will change you.

It is easier for me today, understanding why so many are reluctant to reach out for forbidden knowledge.

…You will pay a price for it.

Although there is a very interesting story in the first half, featuring a guy who had his life turned upside down by an anonymous person posting defamation against him online [including being accused of being a pedophile]…the story I wanted to bring attention to, starts a bit after the thirty minute mark.

This is not a typical report [and interview] concerning “pedophiles”…And even though it may still be a far cry, from the type of media content I would most prefer to see…I have to applaud This American Life, for at least doing something uncommon [a few things, honestly]…for covering something in a way most people, seemingly, never would.

True…this is the safe, “understanding them deeper” approach…and one which relies on a “pedophile” who is mirroring the same bias against “pedophiles” held by, seemingly, most people…

…But, it is a step away from the usual tripe we encounter…that stuff where it is all about people ranting, raving, making unsupported accusations and claims, people spewing venom while talking of their feelings about hypothetical situations…all noise and ignorant bluster, with little [or no] substance…

“Adam” is eighteen years old, and knows he is a pedophile…He starts downloading child pornography, and sees nothing wrong with it…until the day, he witnesses an adult doing something with an eighteen month old child, which disturbed him [I am unsure, what the nature of this activity was]…He decided that he needed help [for himself], got his mother to set up an appointment with a local therapist…told this person that he was “a pedophile, addicted to child pornography”…and she [the therapist] very promptly betrayed his trust…

This story does not delve deeply, into what the fallout was of this…but the therapist admitted she was not qualified to handle his case, and he stopped seeing her…In short, it was a mammoth mistake for him to go there and do that…and it just goes to point out, how deeply destructive it is…that we lack our own larger support structure, one that would be available and open to everyone who is like us.

We are all left adrift, to our own devices…to figure out how to move forward…There simply is little source, for sound and competent advice…from somebody who knows…somebody who has been there…somebody who knows where the pitfalls are.

One of the biggest tragedies in this…is all of us who end up offering our own heads up on a silver platter…simply because we lack guidance, from somebody who understands and cares…and we cannot figure out how to take that next step forward, while keeping ourselves safe.

…I hope, “Adam” has not ended up on a sex offender registry…or with a ruined life…because that is the sort of fate suffered, by people who naively show all their cards to the wrong person…You may think they are going to help you…but they are much more likely to severely hurt you…

“Adam” set up his own online, exclusive support group [which remained un-named in this interview], for “pedophiles” who have internalized, accepted and mirrored the mainstream notions about sexual contact between adults and minors…He does not allow “pedophiles” of differing experience or opinion, to participate…Apparently, he does have a small following of likeminded “pedophiles”.

…In some ways…this last story comes off feeling more like “a success story” [by mainstream presentation standards]…because we have that whole “uncle tom” dynamic going on…The masses can more easily get behind someone who they think is “fighting their own inner demons”, putting their own differences in the trash to gain acceptance from others…Some of them can wrap their minds around the notion of, “a monster trying to not be a monster”…

…I guess…that might be a positive development, given where we have started from…and where we have gone, these last few decades…

Truth be told…”Adam” is just an example of one variant in human sexuality…This is not an abnormality…It is a variant

It sounds to me, that “Adam” has a lot more living, learning and experiencing ahead of him…and I sincerely hope that he does continue to search “outside the box”, taking to heart the experiences and insights of many who have walked this path before him…I wish him all the best, and hope that he makes his way out of the political and social maze, which they try to trap people like us in…

…A window of time downloading child pornography, followed by one shocking instance of it and a bad trip to the therapist, is not much to base your own understanding and stance upon…

On another note…there are some other interesting tidbits in this segment…like a rare public acknowledgement, that “development of pedophilia” has never been established as associated with being molested…Or, in other words, there is no discernable direct link between the two.

Some people claim they were “molested”, and that this “made them a pedophile”…usually after they have been caught doing something, where it becomes convenient to blame somebody else for their own behavior…

Truth be told…they may be a pedophile…and they may have been molested…but they almost certainly would have been a pedophile, no matter whether they had been molested or not…The orientation is distinct, from the “molestation” experience.

By all means…please do take a listen to this. It is an interesting episode.

Japan’s Penis Festival Is Totally Nuts!…

“Each spring, people flock to Kawasaki, Japan, to celebrate Kanamara Matsuri, aka the “Festival of the Steel Phallus.”

Held this year on April 6, the festival is a celebration of the penis and fertility. People parade gigantic phallic-shaped mikoshi (portable Shinto shrines) down the streets during the event, as revelers suck on penis lollipops, buy penis-themed memorabilia and pose with sculptures in the shape of — you guessed it — penises.

According to the BBC, the festival is believed to have roots in the 17th century, when prostitutes are said to have prayed for protection from sexually transmitted infections at Kawasaki’s Kanamara shrine.”* Steve Oh, Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show), Malcolm Fleschner (Executive Producer, The Point) and Jackie Koppell break it down.

…”children suck on penis shaped lollypops”…

    …Priceless!

Doesn’t say anything about children in the linked article, though.

Human Rights Watch Report: Sex Offender Laws and Child Offenders…

    ……
    ….

    Date: April 1, 2014

This is actually an excerpt from section seven, of a report on the effects of sex offender laws, authored and published by the Human Rights Watch organization in 2007.

…No Easy Answers: Sex Offender Laws in the US…

…No Easy Answers: Sex Offender Laws in the US…

The entire thing really deserves a full read…but I just wanted to highlight a portion, and share it…maybe give a brief comment.

It gives statistics from the U.S. Department of Health and Welfare…and please keep that point in mind…we are looking at the U.S. governments own numbers, from it’s own research, and the U.S. government is incredibly hostile towards many forms of human sexuality, including pedophilia…In other words…contrary to what some may suggest, I do not cherry pick my quotes from soft or generally questionable sources…Much of what I have learned over the years, has ultimately come from the very same government which hounds and assaults people like me.

…Wrap your mind around that, for a moment…

…Yeah…it is royally messed up, that they’ve known all this time [all along?]…their ruthless war is against entirely normal, entirely natural, entirely harmless behavior…and even against very beneficial behavior…

…They’re waging an inhumane war against humans, for the “crime” of having been a human amidst going about living a natural life…

…[I feel like flipping the middle finger at the U.S. government, right now]…

    Anyway…On too the interesting content…

    …Consensual Teenage Sex…

    …Consensual Teenage Sex…

“Some of the sexual behaviors by youth that lead to a sex offense conviction and the application of sex offender laws do not involve the sort of acts or intent normally associated with criminal offenses. Most child behavior experts agree that sexual experimentation is a normal part of a young person’s development. Some of the youthful offenders who are currently required to register as sex offenders were exploring their sexuality, or engaging in other typical adolescent behavior such as genital play or consensual sexual intercourse.

According to a survey conducted by the US Department of Health and Welfare, by age 14, more than one-third of the survey’s respondents reported genital play with another youth under the age of 18, and about one-fifth had started having sexual intercourse. By age 16, over 40 percent of both sexes report intercourse, and that rises to 55 percent for both boys and girls at age 17. Child development experts agree that consensual sex play among children, including intercourse between teenagers, “is not psychologically harmful under ordinary circumstances and is probably a valuable psychosocial experience in developmental terms.”

More than one third reported having sexual experiences, by the age of fourteen…If this is indicative of a social trend [or common human behavior], then a heck of a lot of kids are having some form of sex, even before they hit the age of fourteen.

If child development experts can tell us that childhood and teenage peer sex, “is not psychologically harmful under ordinary circumstances and is probably a valuable psychosocial experience in developmental terms.”…what else can we take away from this?…

…That the arousal, stimulation and touching of a child’s [or teenagers] genitals, is not abnormal?…That it is normal?…That it is healthy development?…That it is a good thing, for their sexual development?…

The kicker here, is that they specify activity between age mate peers…as being part of “under ordinary circumstances”…But isn’t that just a social construct?…I mean…exactly what, in nature, stops a child and someone significantly older, from having an ordinary circumstance of a sexual relationship, or encounter?

Clearly…it has not been out of the question, nor unthinkable, throughout the history of mankind…and it still happens today, in some places…

What if…western cultures finally grew up, finally put their sexual superstitions aside…and finally allowed normal, healthy, intergenerational relationships to exist as part of ordinary social circumstances?…

…Should we expect trauma and injury, if it is no longer breaking a deep social taboo?…

…After all…a lot of stuff that goes on in other cultures would not be tolerated in western culture…Yet the people actually doing the activities, get along just fine while embracing them…

…And, after all…presumably these children and teenagers, will mostly spend the bulk of their sexual lives, having sex with adults…It has always seemed mightily bizarre to me, that the “experts” try to keep the young away from what they ultimately intend them to have sex with [physically developed adults]…but often find no problem with it, when they get touchy and feely with what the “experts” ultimately want them having nothing to do with [a child’s body]…

That is some extreme mixed up messaging…How do you expect them to not be attracted, to what they have such enjoyable memories of [a child’s body]…while at the same time being solely attracted to what they have been conditioned to shun [the adult body]?…

There is simply no natural line, here…despite that they try to enforce one…and this pursuit is a complete mess.

Now yes…I know, I know…it is not that simplistic…and humans will still have very enjoyable sex, even if they aren’t with their fantasy partner…Many are just overjoyed to be having sex, at all…Fair enough…

…But when you really examine this type of social conditioning…it honestly makes no logical or practical sense.

I have to ask…Is this honestly a good social practice…Aren’t we, as a society, just messing with things that we ultimately have little control over, in the larger picture?…

1000 years from now…all this socially sanctioned interference and manipulation into a person’s private life…it will all be for naught…Everyone who suffered it’s ill consequences will be long dead, robbed of the ability to live while they were still alive…Whomever else theoretically benefited, will also be long dead…and knowledge of what good it allegedly did for them, long forgotten…

…I just hope, if humans have not gone extinct by that time…that the cultures which exist will be far more humane, tolerant and intelligent…than the one I live in, today.

I Told You So!: Feeling Vindicated Over Jonathan Krohn…

    Date: April 01, 2014

    Backstory…

Jonathan Krohn was a thirteen year old, who back in 2010 wrote a political rhetoric book, which mimicked all the very right wing ideologies…I am speaking “tea bag party” stuff…And he was really embraced and loved by the republicans, in the moment…he is even shown giving a speech [he gave a speech at CPAC in 2009]…He was a trophy of theirs, frankly…

This was posted about on BoyChat, and I gave a response to it…

…It’s Way too Easy, to be an Idealist…

What I took issue with, is that this poor kid was [in my opinion] clearly being used by his parents, and he likely lacked the real life experience to be speaking authoritatively about social issues…He was indoctrinated…basically, a cute, “feel good” puppet for the far right…

    …The Sub-Thread In Question…

    …The Sub-Thread In Question…

Someone took issue with me, when I strongly suggested that those were not honestly his own viewpoints…I believe it was Crake…who I have a great deal of respect for, and appreciate the counter viewpoint…but I also think he didn’t quite get where I was coming from…I consider myself to have been a thoroughly brainwashed kid, and I saw a lot of parallels between my boyhood self, and what I was seeing in Jonathan…I was sharing some insight, and expressing some sympathy [if a bit of alarm] with his situation…

…And yes, it has honestly made me ill, to see this degree of indoctrination happening to young kids…especially when we are talking about certain far right ideologies…You know…the kinds that are self centered, and don’t give a crap about anybody else…or wish to shackle minorities, and the like…

Here we are, four years later…

…Conservative Kid Jonathan Krohn Now Liberal…

Now at the age of seventeen, Jonathan is politically a polar opposite of his thirteen year old self…because he actually started getting into politics, paying attention and getting educated on social issues…

…It turns out, he is a far more socially decent human being, than you might have been led to believe, from the rhetoric he was pushed to take part in, several years back.

I still suggest, he was regurgitating his parents political viewpoints…and now that he has formed his own, they are clearly not his parents viewpoints…which I think is wonderful!

…I feel slightly vindicated in this “new” information. 🙂

At no point in time was I ever attacking Jonathan…and I think, anyone of reasonable intelligence would see that…I just thought it was scummy, that he was used like a puppet.

    For a bit of history:

Here is an older video that features him in it.

    …Kid Pundits on Fox News…

…and another video, about how FOX conservatives took a nasty turn on Jonathan…

…Kid Ripped By Fox’s ‘The Five’ For Turning Liberal…

…Ugh…I would not have even thought of treating Jonathan like that…How revolting, for them to do that…

Imagine A World Where Being “Gay” The Norm & Being “Straight” Would Be The Minority! [Short Film]…

    Date: April 01, 2014

…Imagine A World Where Being “Gay” The Norm & Being “Straight” Would Be The Minority! [Short Film]…

Note: This gets quite graphic at the end.

A good little movie I just found, I thought I would share it with you…It is about bullying…only, in that world, it is seen as wrong to want someone of the opposite sex.

    Thought provoking…I like the spin…

…Heartbreaking story, based upon true too life scenarios.
