Stomach Infection, EQF Community Links & The Mass Shooting…

……
….

Date: June 18, 2016

There I was:

…Just nicely getting ready for a “couple of week”-ish, festive slide into the summer observance of IBLD…having three fitting audio books scheduled to post…

…I went to bed, and woke up the next day with a most awful stomach cramp…It wouldn’t go away…and was accompanied by brief nausea, and chills…

…I stayed in bed and suffered all day long…until the next day…when I discovered plenty of reason to get up, repeatedly…

…lurching to the toilet, to vomit.

I think I puked more in a three day period, than the sum total of my “pukeage”, over the last thirty years…This is, however, unconfirmed.

I could not eat for nearly five days…Or, more accurately…I could eat…I could keep down [and hence, digest] nothing.

…Pretty much all I did, for most of a week, was lay in bed and suffer…intermixed with vomiting…and a couple days of struggling through work.

So…I got struck down, in the midst of plans…It broke my stride…and I was displeased.

Happily…that bout of nastiness is over with.

EQF Community Links Update:

The EQF Community Links Page has finally been updated…This was a long time coming.

Please visit. There are a number of new links there, plus several repaired links.

If you have a website, blog, wiki, forum, etc…If you are a Minor Attracted Person…If you conduct yourself in the spirit of openness, and promote [or at least tolerate] open dialogue…And, if you do not find your resource linked on the EQF Community Links page already…feel free to submit your information, in the submission form at the bottom of the EQF Community Links page.

The Mass Shooting:

My condolences and thoughts are with the victims.

The mass shooting happened in the middle of my illness…Hence, you still haven’t really seen me express a lot about it, personally.

[Archive.Org] Librivox Free Audiobooks: Peter Pan…

01) [Archive.Org] Librivox Free Audiobooks: Peter Pan

“Librivox recording of Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie.
Read by Librivox volunteers.

Peter Pan is the well-loved story of three children and their adventures in Neverland with the boy who refuses to grow up. Swashbuckling, fairy dust, and flight; mermaid lagoons, ticking crocodiles, and Princess Tiger Lily; second to the right and then straight on till morning. You know the story… and if you don’t, please start listening immediately! (summary by Meredith Hughes)”

In observance of the upcoming IBLD, I’ve decided to bring a few classic boy stories to Our Love Frontier. I hope you enjoy these.
