I was amazed to hear how relatively sanguine Pizarro and Sommers were towards instances of free speech censorship on North American campuses. Perhaps I am ultra-sensitive on this issue being as I am, forbidden from seeing what I desire to see by successive oppressively tyrannical governments. To see that very same oppression meted out at universities by the snowflake generation is a clear sign that the so-called land of the free has slipped well and truly down the slippery slope to tyranny.

Possibly the sign of people who don’t have deeply personal skin in the game?

I’m always astonished, when presumably intelligent people aren’t horrified at what’s going on at these university campuses, as relates to free speech…It’s a look into the future, which will be imposed upon the rest of us…Those college students are supposed to be “tomorrow’s leaders”. If nothing else, they’ll eventually have control over many vital subjects and fields, in culture and profession.

…I reject all “leadership”, that thinks and behaves like this…You cannot be a leader, if you find everything a threat…nor if you lack objectivity…empathy…the ability to communicate and understand…

You have to leave your emotions behind, and be an ambassador, first…

…It’s like they are trying to kill this very principle.
