“The Atari Jaguar was marketed as the world’s first 64 bit console. Released at a time when the media and many consumers were obsessed with bits, The Jaguar it seemed, was destined for success and Atari had big plans for it – even a VR headset. But instead of bringing Atari roaring back to the mountain top, the Jaguar was a commercial failure and some critics doubted if it was even really a 64 bit system. Today we’re going to look at how a console Atari thought would make it king again ended up being its last released console (as of Sept 2017). This is the story of The Atari Jaguar.”
I kind of wish I owned one of these…I’m just not spending the money [too much] to get one…And I don’t see a compelling game library.
