It should be noted, that historical Jim Crow was based in racism, and implemented through law…What I am addressing here, is the social attitude propping up the execution of Jim Crow…In the modern era, Jim Crow still has it’s manifestations…It is aimed at sexual minorities…And many of the growing laws against speech and behavior, which clearly target and menace certain sexual minorities, hold clear parallels to the historic Jim Crow laws.
Also…about the NAMBLA hatchet piece, a certain someone has threatened to make and publish…I’m not paying attention to them, anymore, so I wont see it if it ever gets published…But, there is an open door for them to send me it’s URL [use the contact page]…and I’ll publish it, right here on this blog…It will get scrutinized, by at least one person who actually knows what they’re talking about…It’s not inconceivable, that it may get scrutinized by NAMBLA members, past or present…And, it will be open to scrutiny from MAPs in general.
I do not fear this…I’ve been confronting vicious smear propaganda against MAPs, for the past two decades…
Given this individuals style of approaching me, lying about me and referencing NAMBLA as a “sex slavery” organization…I have little doubt that whatever they muster up, it will be bankrupt of integrity…lots of low brow, shots below the belt…and a lot of gossip perpetuation.
They’ve already gotten started on a very bad foot, with their comments here alone…It’s obvious, they wont even attempt to be objective, fair or accurate.
Jim Crow, at it’s base, was about enforcing and maintaining segregation, racism and classism.
One time vocal MAP Jeffery Gold [Sure Quality Radio], pointed out that the social maltreatment of MAPs is the new Jim Crow in the modern era…
…Aside from the racism element…I have to concur.
Jim Crow in the modern era, is about a social atmosphere created by a certain kind of social attitude…a very ugly, abusive social attitude, based upon a toxic combination of superiority complex and the demonization of other groups of people.
Today…the spirit of Jim Crow lives on, not so much in the realm of racism…as in the efforts to create segregation, and the hobbling of various groups within the population.
Online…”Jim Crow” means things like…
…Yes…it may objectively be legal, moral and ethical for you to be here, and to be doing what you do…but I’m going to do whatever I can to inhibit you, or even stop you from realizing your legal human right…
…It’s about self righteous vigilantism, lording over those subjectively dictated to be “the wicked”…
…It’s the person who says, “I don’t tolerate you!”…”You are not on equal grounds with me!”…”You better not talk to me, as if you were!”…”Keep your head and your eyes down, and don’t you dare look me straight in the eyes!”…”You don’t deserve human rights, nor any of the rights I enjoy for myself!”…”You have no right to be here, at all!”…
Jim Crow…is about alienating people, from realizing what it means to be a full human being, living a full life on equal grounds with everyone else.
…It’s about shouting and beating others down, “into their rightful place”…
Jim Crow reared it’s ugly head on Our Love Frontier, just recently…a few times, honestly…including the weirdo, who keeps posting false stories accusing specific MAPs of murdering children and teens [presumably, nonexistent ones]…
…But I also got correspondence from someone, who I have given nothing but generous, respectful, constructive support towards, in the past…And for my positive appreciation of his work…I get something akin to what we once called a “poison pen letter”…ad hominem slurs…a flair of superiority…an expressed desire, that I not even be able to access their media…a paranoid suggestion of me “getting into their head”, and “telling them how to make their media”…and a promise to create some hatchet job, propaganda piece on “NAMBLA as a sex slavery group”…all as a double middle finger back at me…
…All for being a kindly, generous, constructive and upstanding member of the internet community…
That…is Jim Crow, in the age of the internet…
For no apparent reason, other than…apparently, he cannot agree to disagree…I’m “not worthy, as a human being”, to even watch their media…And the sky will fall and burn, should their media inspire any form of commentary from myself…
It makes me question why people even create and publish media…if they are just going to turn around and behave like this, whenever someone starts paying attention to them…and responding to things they have to say…
…After all…when they release this content…it enters into the life and world of other people…Sometimes…I, a MAP, am one of those other people…
Let me reiterate…
…As a MAP, your media and expression may very well enter into my life, and my world…
…As such…I have every right to give commentary on it…I also have a right to give citation to it, so that not only do people know what I am commenting on…but they also can see that I’ve taken nothing out of context…
Much of the reason I link and embed media here…is that I want to be transparent, and completely on the level…and I want it clearly understood, that my commentary is fair and honest.
I guess…some people don’t understand how the internet works…If you put something out there, other people can link and embed it, and respond to it…This is a good thing…It’s people communicating…It’s attempt at dialogue, and working through social issues…Which is highly preferable, to stewing anger in isolation…
People should be open to this…not angry when it happens.
If you care at all, about this world and the people in it…then this is one thing you must understand, above all else.
It’s extremely sad, whenever I see people behave in the way this individual has…throwing his own integrity on the trash heap, just to get in a few cheap jabs at “the pervert below him”…
Perhaps…one day he may get his wish, of a segregated internet…with it’s own cyber fences, walls and ghettos…
…YouTube now has the barest of foundation, on which to build such…You can now prevent your videos from being embedded anywhere, or watched anywhere else but on YouTube…
…With paid membership, sites like Vimeo give you the option of a white list, for your videos…
…The technology is there…white lists and black lists, could be implemented…At the very least, embedding can be stopped…It’s entirely conceivable, that deflecting traffic from even just links, could be implemented…That technology also exists…I’ve witnessed it in action…many years ago, actually.
It does nothing good…to close your mind, and pretend that good people being persecuted, aren’t out there in this world…It does nothing good, to subjectively tell people [out of ignorance], that they “are not good”…
…But I guess that’s why this person got so defensive, over me “getting into their mind”…
…They just don’t want to know…They don’t want to face the reality.
On a brighter note…I’d like to acknowledge the person from Redit, who left a very nice message to me, a few days prior to this Jim Crow nastiness…
It gives me hope and satisfaction, knowing that there are others out there…who comprehend the deeper meaning behind Our Love Frontier…And why I’ve created this fairly massive body of personal writings/recordings, intermixed with a lot of critical, social issues…and useful, uplifting content.
Thank you for that message…It honestly means a lot to me.
But to people who carry the spirit of Jim Crow with them, I say this…
…If you don’t want someone as interesting, awesome, genuine, driven, ethical and fabulous as myself in your life…then that is your severe loss in life…That self inflicted injury, is solely on you.
For me…I don’t need people who fancy themselves “better than” me, who think nothing of lying about me, trying to undermine and cut down my own life…holding me down, like a ball and chain around my neck…
I’ve unsubscribed to all accounts I could find, to this Jim Crow individual…I think I’ve gotten them out of my YouTube suggestions “timeline”…
It’s unfortunate that people are nasty like this, even in the face of long term goodwill on my part…
…But this blog, and myself, will carry on without interruption, in their absence…
