A cameo appearance by Prof Peterson here:

UK Channel 4 News’ Kathy Newman interviewing Professor Jordan B Peterson as he discusses the pay gap, patriarchy and his new book ’12 Rules for Life’.

“Possibly the most airtight and absolute landslide victory I’ve ever seen in a debate. Not only did he win or defend every single topic/issue within the discussion with complete linguistic perfection. He did so with complete politeness, civility, and even a little humor. Unbelievable. This Interview will be one of Jordan Peterson’s highlights in his life.”

Seeing that the Peterson/Newman interview on Youtube has attracted nearly 2.5 million views and 50,000 comments in just five days, here is Paul Weston’s excellent analysis of just why there has been so much interest.

I think he’s spot on…and the same holds true for us MAPs, just like anyone who’s deprived of a public venue, through which to talk about issues important to them.

It’s very deeply meaningful…fiercely, even…to people who need it, but don’t have it.

…Where it finally surfaces…we find that a lot of attraction happens…and a lot of lively activity occurs around it.

So many people are starved for the truth.

      One thing, though…

…Truth has to do with objective acknowledgement, of things as they naturally are.

…I don’t think of “truth” as being a “conservative or liberal”, “right or left” thing…

Anyone, of any leaning, can tap into truth…even if they normally don’t.

I’ve always hated that this current trend of censorship, crybullying, shouting down, red herring, etc, etc…has been blamed on liberals…

…These practices are not native to the liberal mindset…They never have been.

It’s coming from something very different, which is being falsely equated with liberalism.

        Yes, I agree!

Once society gets it into its head to target and discriminate against a minority group, be it Jews, Blacks, Gays, Muslims, whatever, the rabid feeding frenzy that ensues removes any vestige of humanity, removes any mechanism to enable push-back, and removes any avenue of escape for members of said group.

It takes heroic efforts by supremely articulate communicators within the group to change the status quo … BUT, communication is the only key to that is able to unlock the door to freedom.
