An Idaho Republican state senator has been labeled a “bully” after ranting at college students who traveled hundreds of miles to discuss a birth control bill with lawmakers.

State Sen. Dan Foreman also has been slapped with an ethics complaint for an incendiary follow-up tweet sent from an account allegedly associated with him.

The tense exchange between Foreman and about a dozen University of Idaho students was captured on camera Monday. Video circulating on social media shows Foreman forcefully pointing his finger and belligerently saying “abortion is murder” to the students, who say they didn’t come to discuss abortion at all.”

01) You’ll Never Guess Who’s Funding Oppo Research Against Progressive Laura Moser

“ON THURSDAY EVENING, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee took the extraordinary step of publicly attacking a prominent Democratic candidate in a contested Texas primary. The party committee’s move was made all the more jarring given the background of the candidate, Laura Moser, who in 2017 became a hero of the Trump resistance movement as the creator of Daily Action, a text-messaging tool that channeled progressive anger into a single piece of activism per day.

“Voters in Houston have organized for over a year to hold Rep. [John] Culberson accountable and win this Clinton district,” DCCC Communications Director Meredith Kelly told the Texas Tribune. “Unfortunately, Laura Moser’s outright disgust for life in Texas disqualifies her as a general election candidate, and would rob voters of their opportunity to flip Texas’ 7th in November.”

The comment followed the release of an opposition dossier the party compiled on Moser. To date, the DCCC has made only two such memos public, one on Moser, and the other on arch-conservative Rick Saccone, a Republican running in an upcoming special election in Pennsylvania.

01) Jordan Peterson; Breaks Down the Creation of the #ME TOO Movement with Christie Blatchford

“Me Too” (or “#MeToo”, with local alternatives in other languages) spread virally in October 2017 as a hashtag used on social media to help demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace. It followed soon after the public revelations of sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein.

The phrase, long used by social activist Tarana Burke to help survivors realize they are not alone, was popularized by actress Alyssa Milano when she encouraged women to tweet it to “give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem”. Since then, the phrase has been posted online millions of times, often with an accompanying personal story of sexual harassment or assault. The response on Twitter included high-profile posts from several celebrities, and many stories of sexual violence were shared, including from Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd,Jennifer Lawrence, and Uma Thurman.”

“Sexual entities” and “rules of sex”…

…Important, relevant concepts…

It kind of gets to the crux, of what impedes so many sexual minorities…

The secret to human sexuality in a culture…is that there are no absolute rules…

…That may seem very disturbing…and, yes…taken to extremes, it could have disturbing consequence…

…but, sexual norms, are what we make of them…And they are extremely fluid.

I think the reason why “we don’t know” what the rules are…is because we have such a vast range of diverse, sexual tolerance and interest…

When you are forced to coexist, with people who have little [or no] sexual tolerance…and you are a sex positive type of personality…there is going to be a sub-culture clash.

I’m just astonished that we still have not figured out how to get along in peace, over the sexuality of our species.

…You would think, that we would have gotten past this by now.
