01) Botched Execution Leaves Inmate Bleeding From Groin

“A death row inmate in Alabama was punctured with a needle 11 times and had begun bleeding from his groin when officials finally decided to stop his execution last month, the Montgomery Advertiser reported on Monday evening.

Doyle Lee Hamm, who was convicted and sentenced to death in 1987 for shooting a night clerk at a motel during a robbery, had been awaiting execution for three decades, as his lawyers worked to unravel the prosecution’s case against him. During that time, he developed large-cell lymphoma, spreading from his left eye to other parts of his body. While Hamm was initially given radiation to treat the cancer, his follow-up surgery in December was canceled, with the state claiming Hamm was in remission. They expedited his execution instead…

01) MUDCRAB Catch n Cook! Caught Using a CRAB POT

“I head to the mangroves at low tide to set up a crab pot to catch some Mudcrabs for dinner! I cook it up with some lemon and seafood seasoning and mate… it just tasted that damn good!!!”

Primitive Technology with Survival Skills looking Crab and Frog for food:

“Hello friends. Mangrove survival is our latest video. In this video we use primitive technology to look for food in the mangroves. We caught frogs and crabs in the forest and then cooked food by fire. Mangroves are home to many animals such as fish, crabs and frogs. There are many birds and some small molluscs. We will continue to make videos of primitive technology and wilderness survival skills. Subscribe to the channel to watch the latest videos. Thank you.”

You have no idea how jealous I am, of people who live in an area with native crab populations.

…Being able to just go out, and get wild crabs…cook and eat them…and essentially for free…That’s like a dream come true for me…

Crabs are insane expensive here.

I’ve had the lesser luxurious [not king or snow, etc.] crabs a number of times…

…Dungeness crabs are wonderful.

…I’d love to try some mud crab, someday.

I’m not quite so floored by the frogs…though, frog meat is quite good…But there’s not a lot of meat on frogs…You need a lot of them to make a meal.

01) Death of homeless sex offender in Grand Rapids poses questions

“So is this what it finally takes for us to hear the muffled cries of the homeless — an ex-con dead in the snow because it’s against the law for a sex offender to huddle up at either of two Grand Rapids missions?

Thomas Pauli didn’t choose to die alone in the cold.

He apparently froze to death because of a crime he committed nearly 20 years ago, and a law that’s dogged him ever since his release from prison.

In the days prior to the discovery of his body Monday morning at a recycling operation in the 600 block of South Division Avenue, he reportedly attempted to score a bed at either or both the Guiding Light Mission and Mel Trotter Ministries, just blocks away.

But officials at both facilities reluctantly acknowledge they would have turned him away because registered sex offenders can’t reside for even one night within 1,000 feet of a school, in this case, Catholic Central High.”

This is the response to people in dire need?…

…”Go out into the cruel cold, and die”?

…And it’s the law, politicians and special interests, which are behind it?
