Ask a BoyLover: Boys In Makeup and Drag?…

….

Date: November 03, 2018

Does a boy in makeup or drag, sexually turn you on?

Given the incident with Desmond is Amazing a while back, where people were freaking out over him being featured on a fake NAMBLA poster…I thought it might be fitting to address this question.

First…I’d caution people not to let their preconceptions about sexuality, inhibit their actual understanding of it.

Now…I’m not going to suggest this specific interest does not exist…I’ve seen at least one BoyLover admit to having this interest…But this discussion has come up in the past…and from what I’ve seen…the ones who get turned on by makeup and drag, are a minority within a minority…

…They are the oddball BoyLovers…if I may use such a term [in the most endearing way, possible].

As much as I am hesitant to cite this movie, because the pedophile in it is such a scumbag…if we can isolate the individual scene…the movie “Happiness” has this scene in it…where the pedophile character first discovers this boy, and falls for him…and this boy is all boy…getting ready to swing at a ball, in a baseball game…And this is an excellent example, of what typically attracts a homosexual pedophile to a boy…his pure boyness

…We’re not looking for a boy, pretending to be a little woman.

If anything…I would suggest that the makeup and female clothing, is a turn off.

Desmond is cute enough in his own right…and for me…nothing I have seen him do for performance, has ramped up my level of attraction.

If you think that boys altering themselves away from natural boyishness, and introducing “adult” traits of the opposite sex, is supposed to somehow enhance a BoyLovers sexual arousal…then I’m afraid the fundamentals of the BoyLove attraction, have gone way, way, way over your head.

To a BoyLover…boys are not a substitute for women, nor for girls…Boys are just what we are attracted to…

…If we could have all the women in the world…we would still choose to be with a boy.

…You want the boy…That’s what it means to be a BoyLover.

“…You want the boy…That’s what it means to be a BoyLover.” and “To a BoyLover…boys are not a substitute for women, nor for girls…Boys are just what we are attracted to…”

    I’ll dare to take a contrarian view (o;

If I said: you want the man … that is what it means to be a gay guy, then yes, of course, but what kind of man exactly? A broad range of preferred gay adult male types available within the marketplace on offer to a broad range of discerning adult gay men, each man desiring a particular type.

At a time when homosexual acts were illegal, risqué cabaret venues featuring feminised male performers were a magnet for gay punters desperate to taste a scintilla of inclusivity in a life largely devoid of belonging, and regardless of their preferred male God.

Endless discussion is had on on-topic darkside-websites about topics such as: “What is your dream boy like?” and “Does a feminine boy turn you on?” etc. I would tend to respond in the same way gays might have done at the time when their sexuality was illegal. And that is: any opportunity to ignite a flame of desire within me is very welcome – I cannot afford to be fussy, so I am motivated to love all boys.

Desmond does turn me on simply because he is a boy doing what he truly wants to do – absolutely no different from a boy wanting to be a soldier, or a boy wanting to be a fireman. Importantly, he is allowed to be himself, acting like all drag-queens do, exhibitionistically, and it seems, in the apparent absence of any ‘gay’-bashing. Any kid in full drag upon being asked in front of NBC cameras whether he identifies as gay and answers yes, and then upon being asked when did you come out, gives the response: ever since I was born, has my total admiration.

By allowing Desmond to be a drag-kid and to be proud of his sexuality, the paradigm that declares kids are asexual gets chipped away a little. Incidentally, that is the very same paradigm that declares paedophiles are sub-human.

Some BoyLovers want feminine boys, yes.

      We cant be picky, true…

      I totally agree.

I would hope my post did not give the impression, that there’s a shortage of BoyLovers who’d love to be in the life of a boy like Desmond…

…It’s just that, when you add in all of these additional factors, like clothing and makeup [so called, “adult” stuff], and suggest that these things somehow push our degree of attraction into hyperdrive…

…People like that, do not get what is happening.

A BoyLover who loves a boy like Desmond, is going to love him…with or without the makeup…the clothing…the being homosexual…

…But many of us don’t especially like the makeup…or clothes…and to that extent, they aren’t a net positive.

I also agree…I love that boys the age of Desmond, are able to freely acknowledge their sexuality. This is phenomenal.

I absolutely agree. The common human failing of being too quick to group and to categorise.
