Tim is correct…Social media companies are only becoming part of the problem, preventing social cohesion…
With rare exception…people of different perspectives are not communicating with each other, in good faith…
…Instead…they are isolated groups squabbling amongst themselves, over “what those other people are doing, want and intend”.
Even if their are some people who you will never be able to get through to…there is generally nothing good, about forcing opposing groups apart…not where it comes to opportunities to communicate.

“Pedophiles” are quite literally fine on YouTube…We generally behave like anybody else…In fact, some of us are extra careful and reserved.
If there are people actually doing illegal stuff on your website, then focus on those people…
If they’re not doing anything illegal…then leave them the hell alone, jackasses!
The people who own the channels, can see to the moderating of their channels…wherever they feel they’ve been menaced, in some way.
This has worked just fine, for well over a decade.
You don’t need to be manufacturing an obviously fake “pedophile problem”, on YouTube.
YouTube has officially turned a corner, for which they may never recover…
…The proverbial “bull” they’ve just mounted, can never be truly controlled by them…and they’ve just taken on an impossible “boulder and chain”, around their own neck.

“THIS IS A HOW TO SKIN, BUTCHER, COOK AND PRESERVE A BOBCAT VIDEO. I ALSO TAKE SOME TIME TO CLARIFY THE IMPORTANCE OF PREDATOR MANAGEMENT.” I never would have thought of eating a bobcat…but, that looks darn yummy! The skinning, butchering and cooking are very educational. One philosophical quibble, however… I disagree that humans are the most important species…We are just the most capable animal, in our normal environment…Hence, we generally come out on top. That does not make us “the most important” of all animals. I would say, though…that we are part of the natural animal kingdom…and as such, we are part of the “circle of life”, as some call it. It is entirely natural for us to eat other animals…even if the process is not the nicest thing to witness. |
