For the love of technology! Sex robots and virtual reality…

01) For the love of technology! Sex robots and virtual reality

“Sex as we know it is about to change.

We are already living through a new sexual revolution, thanks to technologies that have transformed the way we relate to each other in our intimate relationships. But we believe that a second wave of sexual technologies is now starting to appear, and that these are transforming how some people view their very sexual identity.

People we refer to as “digisexuals” are turning to advanced technologies, such as robots, virtual reality (VR) environments and feedback devices known as teledildonics, to take the place of human partners.”

“We should learn from the mistakes of the past. Society has stigmatized gays and lesbians, bisexuals, pansexuals, asexuals, consensually non-mongamous people and practitioners of bondange/discipline-dominance/submission-sadomasochism (BDSM).

Then, as time goes on, we have gradually learned to be more accepting of all these diverse sexual identities. We should bring that same openness to digisexuals. As immersive sexual technologies become more widespread, we should approach them, and their users, with an open mind.”

Predictably no mention was made of arguably the most significant sexual minority group still ostracised by society … those who are sexually attracted to children. The implication being of course that ‘we should not approach them with an open mind; indeed, we should not approach them at all’.

Technically…pansexuals would be part pedosexual…so long as they lived up to the true principle of being a pansexual.

…But, most Pedosexuals are likely not pansexuals.

      You are correct…

…And it seems ridiculous, that anyone would suggest a need to head off this level of discrimination, over what amounts to people who use a luxurious, ultra-expensive sex toy.

What?…do people buying sex toys at the local “adult book store”, honestly have such a hard time in life, over it?

Seems to me…technosexuals would have a leg up on social acceptance, because they’d mainly be keeping their sexuality to themselves…hence, not bothering anyone else with it.

I don’t see how anyone even could discriminate, based on that.

Hi! For me I could/would use such devices for pure sexual pleasure, as already do with present-day sextoys, but those who actually have an intimate relationship with a robot I do find very odd indeed.

    Each to their own, though!

      Hey! 🙂

I don’t think I’d want to put my favorite body part into a robot…What if it malfunctioned, and started to combust within?…Or worse, had some breakage and parts thrashing around which potentially could chop off your twanger?

      No, thank you!
