Trump Permanently Banned From Twitter. Parler Banned From Google Play. WTF Is Happening?…

I’m glad to see more and more people are waking up to this underlying problem.

People from all sorts of groups, with all sorts of philosophies and modes of behavior, have been attacked and banished by Twitter.

You literally do not have to do anything wrong…You can spend your time on the platform, objectively doing everything right [according to their TOS and guidelines]…Twitter has malicious groups who ascend upon peaceful groups and individuals, overwhelming to cause chaos, conflict and force a false narrative they can feed to the larger public…After some time has passed, Twitter itself simply strikes at the targeted group, because they find them inconvenient and just want them gone.

That is Twitter’s playbook, where it comes to banishing people who are in strict compliance with their TOS and guidelines.

In actual function, Twitter is more of a monopoly than anything at this point. It holds vast power in social and political influence, which then impacts everybody [including us] in the world.

I hate to say it, because I know some really good, individual people who still use the platform…but I agree…Twitter needs to be wiped out of existence.

It’s a fascist branch of the system…It forces out people who wont “step in line”…and then there is the second half of the equation few people talk about…They use their might in pushing to destroy all other credible alternatives to their own service…

…So, even if you do set up an account elsewhere, as a Twitter refugee…the service itself might collapse under the pressure being forced upon it.

I’ve seen this play out enough times…The fuckers don’t just force you off of “their” platform…They do everything in their power to make sure you will never have any platform.

They want to own all dialogue on the open internet.

I think that gets to the root of it, yes…

Trump has been a gift to the censors.

He is a tool, for which the rest of us will be punished and disenfranchised…if they can get away with it.

Twitter recently banned MAPs and this horrible decision was celebrated by most. I think they now feel empowered to just ban any discourse. Free speech is something that you either have or you don’t. The moment you ban a specific discourse, such as minor-attraction as a sexual orientation or identity, the gates are open.
I used to think “hey, but Twitter is a private company, they have the right to do stuff like that.” But a Brazilian journalist made a pretty strong case against that: the Internet data flows through state concessions. He mentioned the telecommunication infrastructure, for example. If that’s the case, a truly free-speech-loving state should pass and enforce laws that criminalize any discourse restriction online, beyond restrictions already contemplated in law (in Brazil, for example, racist speech is a crime).

Yes…I was personally right in the thick of that battle.

There was at least a year long campaign of harassment and abuse, causing chaos and setting the stage leading into this banishment of MAPs.

A lot of dirty, treacherous behavior culminated into this grotesque injustice.

You’ve likely already seen me state this…but my stance is that the thoughts and claims spread via twitter, have a wide reaching impact on society and politics, which we all have to live with the consequences of…and hence, twitter has no right to alienate anyone from this “public dialogue”.

There exists enormous amounts of dehumanization, stereotyping and hate speech on twitter aimed at MAPs…which makes twitter a method of assault on MAPs, and a very real threat to the human lives of MAPs.

They have no right to host and protect this type of abusive, threatening, accusatory and libelous behavior, while preventing the targeted victim class from responding and confronting it.

What twitter is doing, is patently evil.
