“Trans Women Are Men … Including Me” – Debbie Hayton…

I love Debbie’s take on being disordered…or “having a disorder”…

…It just means you’re not “in order” with [ie: emulating and following the formula of] everybody else.

This is paradigm shifting…because it removes “mental disorder” from the realm of “being broken” or “in the wrong”…and acknowledges you’re being judged based on what the majority is doing, or what the majority is saying.

I keep coming back to the same question, where it comes to this issue…

…Why cant we make a place for everyone in society, and accept them as the individuals they are?

Why does anyone even need to make physical and psychological modifications, in order to fit in?

Why is diverse variation so rejected in the first place?

I have never understood the adoption of transgender by the gay rights social movement. Historically, it was all about the fundamental right of a person to have their (non-hetero) sexual orientation recognised and respected by society. Surely, the ‘T’ in LGBT is the parasitic cuckoo that during the 1990s managed to push the unfortunate ‘P’ out of the nest – upon hitting the ground the fledgling has failed to recover and assume its rightful place within the nest once more.

While I do agree, we have a more practical right to be there, I don’t look badly on their support of transgender people.

This situation is a sort of anomaly…but, their leadership is not made of the same stuff, as the leadership pre 90’s…

What they have leading them around today, is weak, self centered and without vision.

I cringe whenever I see the LGBT, or whatever, acronym because whereas it should represent me, it does not and never has done. It is an exclusive discriminatory club for which the door seems permanently barred – no different from the rest of society in fact.
