“Ojai 1984 – Question #3 from Question & Answer Meeting #2

‘There are many people who have considerable difficultly with homosexuality. Could you, even briefly, put some light on this question?’

This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.

The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, ’The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities… nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.’

We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti’s original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.”

Diane Rehm tackles ‘death with dignity’ again, this time in a new documentary…

“John Rehm’s death changed Diane Rehm’s life.

Ten years after John was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, he couldn’t stand, walk, eat or go to the toilet by himself. Outraged because the law forbade his doctor to help hasten his death, he resolved to stop eating and drinking.

Diane, the celebrated NPR talk show host and John’s wife of 54 years, kept vigil for the next 10 days. Just after 2 a.m. on June 23, 2014 — a few hours before John died — she took out her iPad and typed the first sentences of a passionate argument for medical aid in dying.

“In most of America, lawmakers and the church are deciding this issue for other people,” she says. “People they’ve never met. People whose suffering they have no way of understanding.”

In 2016, Diane retired from “The Diane Rehm Show,” which had run for more than 30 years on NPR station WAMU. Since then, she has championed what she and other advocates call “death with dignity.” On Wednesday, PBS will broadcast her new documentary, “When My Time Comes.”

The one-hour program and a similarly titled book published last year describe the death of her husband, a former lawyer for the Kennedy and Johnson administrations, and the perspectives of politicians, doctors and patients about the movement that has led to new laws in nine states and the District.

Diane remarried in 2017, at age 81, to retired Lutheran minister and therapist John Hagedorn. Since retiring from “The Diane Rehm Show,” she has been producing a twice-weekly podcast and a monthly book club for WAMU. She spoke to The Washington Post in an hour-long telephone conversation that has been edited for length and clarity.”

“WHEN MY TIME COMES chronicles the investigation of NPR’s Diane Rehm into the right-to-die movement in America.

Spurred on by the death of her husband, the Peabody-award-winning journalist crosses the country to take an in-depth look at medical aid in dying. She speaks to people on all sides of the issue, uncovering the pros and cons, the facts and the misinformation surrounding this controversial practice that is now legal in nine states and the District of Columbia. The result is both moving and informative – an eye-opening documentary that is sure to provoke strong reactions and thoughtful conversations among viewers of all ages and backgrounds.”

Wikipedia had so much potential…but this is the ultimate problem, which has dragged Wikipedia down…It’s a problem that goes way, way back to it’s earliest days…when they decided they’d just start banning people from being contributors, if they didn’t like them…regardless whether they were posting information in a neutral way or not…and, yes…Wikipedia has a history of doing this…as well as allowing people and organizations to be smeared and libeled.

Ugly truth about Wikipedia…is that they’ve been pushing people out, while allowing current politically correct bias, far longer than the major social media platforms…Wikipedia is one of the original major stooges on the internet.

This is why I will never donate to Wikipedia…and why out of principle, I virtually never even link to it.

True…Wikipedia is such a massive glut of content, that most of it wont likely suffer from political assassination…and it will be good information, provided by honest people with goodwill…

…But it’s those socially charged issues, where clarity and diversity counts the most, where Wikipedia drops the ball…in ways which are critical and damaging to society…damaging to human beings.

It’s unforgivable, that Wikipedia pushes social agendas, over clarity in information…most especially when it’s aggressively slanted against research, individuals, organizations and demographics.

Where it counts the most…Wikipedia is a garbage website, because the people running it have consciously chosen to turn their back on objective integrity.

They can take their endless pleading for financial support, and shove it up their ass.

…Wikipedia Does Not deserve being supported…and I’m sorry they duped the good doctor out of her money.

She handed it over to snakes…they turned around and bit her.

“With a week to go before the special primary election for Ohio’s 11th Congressional District, Democratic candidate Shontel Brown may be in hot water.

In April, The Intercept reported that Brown, a Cuyahoga County Councilmember, had voted to award millions worth of contracts to companies connected to her romantic partner and campaign donors. Emails reviewed by The Daily Poster show that the Ohio state auditor’s office reviewed the allegations in the article and recently referred the matter to the state ethics commission.

Under Ohio law, public officials are prohibited from knowingly authorizing or using their authority or influence “to secure authorization of any public contract in which the public official, a member of the public official’s family, or any of the public official’s business associates has an interest.” Violation of the statute is a felony, and penalties can include prison time.

“Health authority’s poor communication of individual risk factors for COVID. Clip with Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying.”

They’re absolutely correct…If these new rules on covid misinformation were being applied equally and fairly…the U.S. government would be right at the top of the list of offenders.

…They knowingly lied to us, and got people killed durring the initial outbreak.

They’d be banned from social media websites right now, if the people pulling the strings were actually subjecting them to current TOS, rules and policies.

Question is…why aren’t they?

There are some really good questions asked in this video.

“Having raised more money than anyone else in the Republican Party so far this year, new filings show Donald Trump is flush with cash. Absolutely swimming in it. But even as the money flows in, the former president is reportedly stiffing one of his fiercest allies and loyal political surrogates, Rudy Giuliani, as the former New York mayor becomes increasingly ensnared in a federal investigation that’s reportedly costing him millions in legal fees.
