Back in 1996, for instance, we’d never have believed that an open-world RPG with multiple continents and thousands of cities was possible, yet Julian Le Fay, Todd Howard, Ted Peterson, and the rest of the Bethesda class of ’95 did just that with The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, expanding our understanding of the genre and all that was possible within it.
26 years on, several Bethesda alumni including Le Fay and Peterson have reunited at OnceLost Games to work on something they hope will once again shake up the RPG discourse.
Their game, The Wayward Realms, will have certain similarities to Daggerfall. Set across a vast archipelago, it too will use procedural generation to create hundreds of cities nestled in diverse environments whose architecture and topographies reflect their place in the world. A capital rioter who has of course pleaded guilty, uh, to participating in the January 6th riot has had their lawyers go to court and argue that this individual could not understand reality enough to realize how bad it was, what he was doing on January 6th. Now, let me read what the lawyers have filed in court, cuz they’re trying to get leniency again. The guy pleaded guilty. They’re trying to get a little bit of a reduced sentence. And in order to do that, they’re like, yeah guys, basically crazy, right? I mean he’s got no grasp on reality at all. So let him go. Yikes. That almost seems more dangerous. Doesn’t it? So here’s what the lawyers argued in their court filing. When these people failed to correct the narrative, talking about the Trump campaign, it left a huge informational void that was filled with the likes of conspiracy theorists, online extremists and Trump loyalists willing to manipulate public opinion for their own purposes, their client. I’m not gonna name him, stood no chance at truly grasping the gravity or reality of the situation. the court must take into account. The enormous influence the president, the media, and the lack of accurate and truthful information played in the months leading up to January 6th, 2021.

All kinds of online nut jobs. Yeah. They, they were everywhere. But if you’re gonna go to court and say that this guy you’re representing is so stupid, that he can’t determine fiction from reality. Then I think the best thing for him is to get hit with the maximum of six months in jail. Honestly, had you not argued that I’d say, listen, you were walking around inside the capital probation, you know, community service, small find you’re good to go. But now that you’ve done this, honestly, I think you’re proving that this guy is more

The fact that neither the January 6th committee, nor bill BARR, himself gave a rats about any of these so-called evidence that Linde has a voter fraud. Bannon specifically asked Linde, have you been called to talk to the January 6th committee to which Linde responded? No, they haven’t. And it’s really, that’s sad too, because I’ve offered, I’d love to come to your committee as long as you nationally televised Ms. Pelosi, he then asked him. Okay, well, have you, have you talked to bill BARR, former attorney general, then attorney general when you were coming up with all this stuff, Linde responded. No, he’s actually avoided me, Steve. I mean, I put out stuff. I tried to get stuff for him, uh, to him in the past. And it’s a complete block.
Linde also told business insider this week that he’d love to go talk to the committee, right? I mean, absolutely. I am more than willing to come and talk to you, Nancy Pelosi and everybody else, even though Pelosi’s not on the committee, cuz he’s got so much evidence of what he still calls the crime of the century. Yeah. Here’s the thing, Mike, um, your phone records had been subpoenaed by the January 6th committee. You then sued the committee so that you would not have to release your phone records. So you’ve actually been given the opportunity to provide evidence of a crime to the committee. It’s just not the crime you wanted exposed now was it? And of course after they subpoenaed your records, you sued them and all that played out, they decided, you know what? We don’t even need to hear from him. You know, what is this guy going to bring to the table that anybody gives a about?
And honestly, it’s the same thing with bill BARR. Like why should I sit down with this? Whackado when we all know everything he’s telling us is completely made up kind of like the meetings that they were having immediately after the election in the white house where people like Lindsay Graham even admitted that the evidence that folks like Rudy Giuliani were presenting was eh, amateur crappy, weird, and most importantly wrong. Mike ele has been given every possible opportunity to present this so-called evidence that he has. He has held massive events, days long events, where he said he was gonna release it. And then he just didn’t release it. If anybody out there is still buying what Lindela is selling other than pillows, then you are an idiot.
