“Ilhan Omar is beloved in her home district in Minneapolis, particularly among members of the sizable Somali-American community who make their home there. Yet at a recent concert performance by a popular Somali performer, Omar was called on stage and was met with a chorus of boos that reportedly lasted ten minutes. So what gives?
