Not Everyone Is Mourning The Queen’s Death…

“Queen Elizabeth II’s death prompts mixed responses across the globe”

Yeah…it’s complicated…She really just rubber stamped whatever the British government decided to do.

I’m no expert on the power divide…but I’ve been under the impression that the crown delegates all legal matters to the government…even though, everything is happening under their sovereignty…which, theoretically, is power they could take back whenever they wanted…They don’t have to just allow the government to do anything.

Obviously…this makes the crown responsible, for whatever the government does…as well as how badly the government allows things to get for the public…various instabilities of society, etc.

Part of me wants to be sympathetic…but honestly…she has a lot of blood and treachery on her own hands…So, it’s not that simple.

I expect a lot of people are glad she is dead.

Whenever I consider the institution that is the UK royal family, or “The Firm” as it is sometimes referred to, I am reminded of The Screaming Pope by Francis Bacon. This painting depicts a nightmarish version of a Velasquez painting of Pope Innocent X, where a screaming pope dressed in all his papal refinery sits in a golden chair imprisoned in a golden cage, surrounded by intense darkness.

For me, this painting by Bacon sums up the lot of the British monarchy: devoid of any authority, yet obliged like marionettes to dance to every puppeteer tune – their inner screams silenced because their vocal chords have long since been removed by the puppeteer. The Thai royal family share a similar fate.

I would suggest that the buck stops with the UK government and their power-crazy Establishment overlords. Increasingly, a callous disregard is being shown towards the welfare of British citizens, from 2020 via a Covid tyranny and of late vast sums of money flowing to a corrupt Ukraine. In the absence of an empathy-free British Empire, what better than to turn on one’s own?

The new Fair World Order cannot come soon enough.

Yeah…Watching king charles repeatedly say “approved”, kind of almost made me feel sorry for him…

…”That” is what he was waiting all of his life for?

I am perplexed as to why they keep the monarchy.

“I am perplexed as to why they keep the monarchy.”

National prestige plus maintaining a cultural tradition and identity that date back many, many centuries. Good for tourism too.
