I really feel like there should have been more emphasis on the point, that the overwhelming part of our population has now been vaccinated…as such, and as we’ve brought more people who would have died regardless into the fold of the vaccinated…it makes perfectly anticipated sense, that the vaccinated group will account for the majority of covid deaths, by this point in time.

Also, given that covid has lost much of its lethality…even the unvaccinated are far safer against it today, than they were at the height of this pandemic. That is an important factor. We are in a much different phase. Your likelihood of dying from covid is much lower.

In itself…given everything…there is nothing especially surprising about more deaths being in the currently vaccinated population. I would suggest, this was entirely expected.

“58% of coronavirus deaths in August were people who were vaccinated or boosted

(people who had completed at least their primary series of vaccines)

Therefore 42% coronavirus deaths in August were people who were unvaccinated

First time there were more deaths covid deaths in the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated”

Forgive that I am being fast and loose with numbers here [I have to go to work]…but it should also be noted, 20% percent of the population [the unvaccinated] making up for 42% of current covid deaths, means that the unvaccinated minority continues suffering a much higher rate of covid deaths, than the vaccinated majority.

I’m not saying anyone was right or wrong, in whatever they chose to do…I’m just pointing out, the unvaccinated continue to be hit much harder on average, than the vaccinated majority.

This still does not paint the cheeriest picture, for the unvaccinated.
