“Fashion brand Balenciaga was in the news this week, but for all the wrong reasons, as critics seized on the company’s bizarre decision to run an ad campaign featuring small children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage gear. The company apologized for the campaign but failed to explain the thinking behind a series of ads that led to accusations that Balenciaga was engaging in so-called “kiddie porn.”
Jimmy wonders about how on earth such an ad campaign could ever come to be and compares it to “provocative” Calvin Klein advertisements of the past.”
Not so sure this qualifies as “sexualizing kids”.
…Dancing bear stickers?…That’s a new one to me.
It looks to me like they’re using artistic expression, to leave an impact on consumers.
This is not “a porno shoot with kids”, Jimmy…
Yeah Brook and Calvin Klein…You “really hated” all that, didn’t you Jimmy?…Yeah…
Do you want Balenciaga Fashion cancelled, Jimmy?

It is tasteless.
I’ve seen art that generally goes in this direction. I’m not convinced that it deserves being prosecuted.
I think this is rather uninteresting, myself.
