While Kathleen Kennedy was at the Cannes Film Festival, entering the theater to debut Indiana Jones 5 to the world’s most elite of elite, a flurry of negative news was smashing her legacy. The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is closing after barely being open a year. Indiana Jones reviews began pouring out that were absolutely terrible. Then word came down that Willow is being wiped from Disney+ because it’s better as a tax write-off than as a piece of content. None of this had to debut on a Thursday afternoon. It could have been presented late on a Friday or a Sunday evening. Instead, it happened as Kathleen Kennedy was supposed to have the biggest day of her year.
