What did the Soviets photograph on Venus? – Real Images!…

“In the 1950s, the now legendary race into space began, in which the United States of America and the Soviet Union shifted their strong competition into space. Both sides attempted to gain supremacy in space. Pioneering work was to be done in order to underpin the scientific power of the respective state. Everyone knows about the race to launch the first orbiting satellite into space and that it ended with a Soviet victory by Sputnik 1. Also the first man in space – Yuri Gagarin – was Soviet.

Of course, the fight for the first manned journey to the moon is still in the minds of people all over the world today. When Apollo 11 landed on the moon in 1969 and Neil Armstrong took his famous step for mankind, the USA could finally present itself as the winner.

In all these competitions in space, however, another interesting subject area fell behind. For Venus was also studied extensively. The Soviets even succeeded in using probes to take photographs of the planet’s surface.”

“Exomoons represent an oustanding challenge in modern astronomy. The quest for their detection has been a topic central to Cool Worlds’ mission and methods developed a decade ago have largely guided that effort. But after years of trying, we have been revisiting these methods and have an exciting breakthrough to share with you all – a new hope for finding exomoons.”

NASA Snags Its First Asteroid Sample…

“NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft just won one of the most epic games of tag in human history. Last month, the plucky little craft reached out and high-fived Bennu, a diamond-shaped asteroid roughly the size of a skyscraper, snatching a sample of its surface in the process.

Orbiting the hunk of rock more than 200 million miles from Earth, the spacecraft extended its robotic arm and blasted the asteroid’s surface with pure nitrogen gas. It then used a sample collection head to vacuum up the disturbed material.

But OSIRIS-Rex’s collection head may have worked too well. It snagged so much rocky material that it couldn’t close its collection flap securely. Precious rocks leaked out into space, creating a dilemma about how the spacecraft should go about storing its cargo.”

01) Ex-defense official on new details of UFO encounters soon to public

Thanks to feinmann!

“Following the news that the Pentagon has a task force looking into UFOs, CNN’s Michael Smerconish speaks to a former Defense for Intelligence official under the Clinton and Bush administrations about the phenomenons.

COMMENT from SUBMITTER:

“… retrievals from off-world vehicles not made on this earth.”

Wow! Seems as if Bob Lazar was telling the truth all along.

Surely all other news pales into insignificance compared with this …”

It could be…

I think it’s ridiculous to believe there is no other intelligent life in the universe…the question is, whether intelligent life is capable of finding and contacting intelligent life in other galaxies and solar systems.

Exploring Planets Outside the Solar System – In Search of Alien Planets in the Universe Documentary…

01) Exploring Planets Outside the Solar System – In Search of Alien Planets in the Universe Documentary

“Scientists already know about a vast number of exoplanets, or worlds beyond our solar system: telescopes have helped us catalogue thousands already, with many more to come. But it is far more difficult to know what conditions might be like on those planets, since they are so different.

In order to narrow that down, the researchers behind the new study combined a variety of data to understand how habitable planets around M dwarf stars – which make up 70 per cent of those in our galaxy – might be. Planets around M dwarf stars are thought to be the most likely place for us to find alien life, because they are so common and therefore easier to find.

The study helped them redefine our understanding of whether a planet could be habitable, adding new questions to be asked of planets by taking into account the radiation coming from a star and how the planets rotate.”
