‘Roseanne’ A Personification Of President Donald Trump’s POV…

01) Rob Reiner: ‘Roseanne’ A Personification Of President Donald Trump’s POV – AM Joy – MSNBC

“‘Roseanne’ was reportedly rebooted to appeal to Donald Trump voters. Yet, Rob Reiner, a star of the iconic show ‘All in the Family,’ calls ‘Roseanne’ part of ‘tremendous’ right-wing ‘megaphone.’ Joy Reid and her panel discuss.”

The name Qanon has been getting passed around within the “pizzagate”/”pedogate” group…for quite some time, actually.

…a nameless, faceless persona that has failed to ever legitimize itself…yet keeps dropping “secret information”, for the conspiracy theorists to eat up…and they do…ravenously…

It’s another one of those things out there…based on nothing tangible…But it disseminates accusations, which the larger group can cite and propagate…

…Which has always seemed to be their main goal…just keep throwing accusations around in a flurry, to make it seem as though something were happening…create a panic with it…and exploit that social panic.

Last time I paid any attention to Roseanne [when she ran for the office of U.S. President]…she still seemed to be personally progressive…with some fairly decent ideas…

I didn’t realize she took up intermingling with the crazies.

This is unfortunate.

‘Roseanne’ revival hits a nerve by tapping the political divide:

“Roseanne” is back after a two-decade-long hiatus, winning high ratings and critical acclaim, as well as criticism. One of the few sitcoms to grapple with issues of class, the reboot locates the Connor family in Trump’s America, in the middle of a family feud over the 2016 election. Jeffrey Brown talks with Sonia Saraiya of Variety and NPR’s Eric Deggans.”
