“Remember how Elon Musk was going to shake things up at Twitter and turn the social media platform into a “free speech” zone? Yeah, well, about that… it turns out that a week or so ago leftist political commentator Garland Nixon was banned from the site and now more recently The Dive host Jackson Hinkle was similarly permanently kicked off the site.
Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the reality that relying on a mega-billionaire to bring popular reform may not be the best plan ever.”

“Donald Trump is finally starting to feel some heat for his comments about terminating the Constitution, so now he’s trying to backtrack and claim that he never said what he said. In a post on Truth Social, the former President claimed that he never called for terminating the Constitution, even though the post where he literally says that was still available for the public to see. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains why the former president is freaking out so badly.

Donald Trump has decided that the best thing to do when you find yourself in a deep hole is to apparently continue digging. Uh, as we all know over the weekend, Donald Trump put on truth social that we need to, uh, basically terminate the Constitution. Uh, he did use the word terminate and he did refer to Constitution. Uh, basically what he said was a massive fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles. Even those found in the Constitution. And after a couple days of Republican silence, Donald Trump decided, you know what? I’m not done yet. But rather than again, calling for the termination of the Constitution based on bogus, uh, Twitter files that he thinks somehow means the 2020 election was rigged, he decided to tell us that he never actually called for the termination of the Constitution. The, the quote I just read you from his true social Donald Trump also put on true social.
It doesn’t exist. It is somehow a manifestation that the corporate media created to make him look bad. And by the way, when he tweeted out the denial that he said it, this post, the original one, calling for the termination was still up on true social. So all you had to do was scroll a little further down in his feed to see that yes, you said it, even though you’re saying that you didn’t say it, and the media somehow created it. So here is the new denial. Uh, this of course is according to, uh, UK Independent. He claimed that news organizations who have accurately reported his words, which are still posted on truth social are quote, actually trying to convince the American people that I said, I want to terminate the Constitution and called the accurate reporting of statements He has posted to the internet, quote, disinformation and lies, disinformation and lies Media is trying to make it look like I said something that I didn’t say, even though what I previously had said is actually still up on the website that I own coming directly from me.
We have seen Donald Trump outright deny reality in the past. You know, he goes out there all the time, address his accusations like, Hey, you said this, and it’ll be like, I didn’t say that. Okay? But this is one instance where what you said was still available on your social media outlet. This was not a fabrication. The media didn’t make this up. You said it, and it’s still there. Like at least if you’re gonna deny it, go back and delete the original post and then claim that the screenshots are somehow photoshopped. I mean, come on, put a little bit of effort into this. But of course, there is a reason why Donald Trump is freaking out about this post and now trying to deny that it exists, even though it still exists. It’s because he understands he has gotten massive backlash from this, not necessarily from Republican politicians.
Oh, a handful of them sure have spoken out about it, but certainly not enough. When your candidate for 2024 calls for the termination of the Constitution, far too many Republicans are still silent to this day about that claim from this past weekend. But he’s freaking out about it because he knows these kinds of things can and will be used against you in an election. I mean, the Democrats right now are sitting in a wonderful position to where they don’t even have to work very hard to create attack ads against Donald Trump.

“In a recent column for The Bulwark, conservative writer A.B. Stoddard listed out the possible ways that Donald Trump could end up “burning down” the entire Republican Party if he doesn’t get his way in the midterms. From running third party to going scorched earth against every sitting Republican, Trump is a timebomb waiting to go off on them. And, as Farron Cousins explains, they only have themselves to blame for this.

In a recent column for the bull work, conservative writer ab Stodd wrote that Donald Trump will absolutely burn down the Republican party if he doesn’t get his way in the G O P primary. Now, before I read you part of what, uh, uh, miss Stoddard wrote here, which I agree with a hundred percent, it’s important to know that Miss Stoddard is not the first person to talk about the fact that Trump’s gonna burn it all down his niece. Mary Trump recently also said that other conservatives have said Trump will burn it all down. It’s actually quite a common phrase right now because everybody understands Trump’s gonna burn it all down. Now, most of the other folks have pointed out that Trump will burn it all down, essentially by running as a third party candidate if he doesn’t secure the Republican nomination.
But Stoddard actually brings up another very interesting way that he could burn it down. And this one honestly would probably be even more damaging to the Republicans in the long term. Here it is, they have to worry that if Trump falls behind in the primary polls and another clear leader emerges, he will leave and trash everyone. He won’t wait to lose the nomination. Since he cannot permit an actual defeat, he will eject himself in advance and campaign against the party. Chaos always wins. Trump understands that anyone who dares to get into the race with him will have to agree that yes, it’s all a political persecution and Trump is innocent, and that the best way to own the LIS is to vote for him. Again, they will have to say this because if they don’t, then they will either lose the primary or lose some sizable percentage of Republican voters. Trump rode to power by fighting the Republican establishment because he understood that it was weak. He realized that whatever Republican elites might say, they’ll always come to heal heel.
So to boil that down, here’s what Stodd is basically saying. If Trump is not the nominee, what the actual nominee will have to do, assuming you know Trump doesn’t destroy them first, is they will have to come out and basically say all the things that Trump has been saying. Otherwise, you’re not gonna get the mag of voters, right? You can’t have a Republican nominee in 2020 that comes out there and says, or 2024, excuse me, that comes out and says, by golly, the 2020 election was fair and Joe Biden’s the real president. You’ve just lost half the mega freaks at least. So you’ve gotta push Donald Trump’s lies, but you gotta do it in a way that doesn’t alienate the normal people. So that’s a very uh, uh, uh, fine line. You gotta walk there and that’s assuming you’re even able to
Walk, walk that line because as Stoddard correctly points out, Trump will probably burn you down before you even get to that point. And even if he does burn you down, you become the nominee. You still have to say these things, which is gonna cost you on one side or the other, whether you choose to say it or to not say it. So Trump essentially has the entire Republican party in a vice grip right now. You either do what I say or I destroy you, and if I get destroyed, you still have to do what I say because my people will destroy you in the polls. Otherwise, it’s almost as if no matter what happens, Trump wins. And that’s kind of the case with the Republicans because if he doesn’t get to be the nominee, he will trash that person. That person could likely lose. Then he’ll say, see what happens when you don’t have me? It’s a catch 22 then that isn’t accurate by the way, but it’s what he’ll say. It’s what the people will believe and Trump gets to claim a victory even if he loses everything. That’s kind of how he operates. He is a master of spin and no matter what happens, he will spin it as a victory and he’ll make sure his base believes every word of it.

“In a recent video, retired nurse educator and popular British YouTuber John Campbell addressed the results of a German study analyzing deaths suspected of being related to the COVID vaccine. The results, he says, suggest a clear correlation between vaccine-induced myocarditis leading to death, albeit only in rare instances.
Jimmy and his panel of Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger and The Dive’s Jackson Hinkle discuss the German study and whether YouTube will allow this sort of discussion on its platform.”
