“The history of our world is full of men who are larger than life — heroes who have become legends over time, and now hold a place as something more than just people. They have become symbols of great aspiration, or traits that we all wish we could embody. However, sometimes it is also important to remember that these men were also just men, and that men are not perfect, and all have their own flaws and quirks. Below are the strange, perverted oddities of 10 of the most influential men in history.”

Interesting…I’m aware of a few of these.

Humans are humans…You scratch the surface a bit, and you’re likely to discover a whole bunch of naughty stuff.

01) Sessions Memo Outlines Death Penalty For Drug Dealers

“Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a memo to federal prosecutors on Wednesday, instructing them to pursue the death penalty in drug-related cases, including dealing in extremely large quantities of drugs, as part of their response to the opioid epidemic. The guidance comes a day after President Donald Trump touted his proposal of executing drug dealers at a speech in New Hampshire with Sessions at his side. If we don’t get tough on the drug dealers, we are wasting our time, Trump saidduring the speech. And that toughness includes the death penalty.

The Angry Eye With Jane Elliott (2001)…

01) The Angry Eye With Jane Elliott (2001)

“The Angry Eye” is a dynamic and provocative documentary, showcasing Jane Elliott’s world famous Blue-Eyed/Brown-Eyed exercise in discrimination. The tables are turned on white American College students as they are forced to experience the same kind of racist treatment African Americans and other minorities have been receiving for years. In the documentary, students’ reactions are intercut with Elliott’s observations. The film is disturbing; both for the participants and for the viewers, who are made to confront their own prejudices.”

THE STOLEN EYE With Jane Elliott (2002):

“Jane Elliott brings her brown-eye/blue-eye diversity training to Australia, where she explores racism between Aboriginal and white Australians.

“OK. Maybe you’re in your desk chair. You’re in your office. You’re in New York, or Detroit, or Timbuktu. You’re on planet Earth. But where are you, really? This hour, Radiolab tries to find out.

How does your brain keep track of your body? We examine the bond between brain and body, and look at what happens when it breaks. First, author and neurologist Oliver Sacks tries to find himself using magnets. Then, a century-old mystery: why do many amputees still feel their missing limbs? We speak with a neuroscientist who solved the problem with an optical illusion. Up next, the story of a butcher who suddenly lost his entire sense of touch. And we hear from pilots who lose consciousness and suffer out-of-body experiences while flying fighter jets.”

01) Inequality in America: A National Town Hall

“Streamed live on Mar 19, 2018

We live in the richest country in the history of the world, but that reality means little because much of that wealth is controlled by a tiny handful of individuals while more than 40 million Americans live in poverty. The issue of wealth and income inequality is the great moral issue of our time, it is the great economic issue of our time, and it is the great political issue of our time.

Tonight, Sen. Bernie Sanders, in partnership with The Guardian, NowThis, The Young Turks and Act.tv, will present a live town hall event on the rise of the oligarchy and the collapse of the American middle class. Sanders will speak with director Michael Moore, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, economist Darrick Hamilton and other guests about the 40-year decline of the middle class and possible solutions to the growing crisis of income and wealth inequality in America.”

Blue Eyed With Jane Elliott (1996)…

Date: March 23, 2018

01) Blue Eyed With Jane Elliott (1996) Documentary!

“Mrs Jane Elliott Conducts Her Blue Eyes / Brown Eyes Experiment To Create A Microcosm Of Society And Expose Discrimination For What It Is: An Evil That Puts Oppressed Groups In An Impossible Situation.

BLUE-EYED offers viewers a chance to watch a full-length workshop with America’s most dynamic diversity trainer, Jane Elliott.

In BLUE-EYED, we join a group of 40 teachers, police, school administrators and social workers in Kansas City – blacks, Hispanics, whites, women and men. The blue-eyed members are subjected to pseudo-scientific explanations of their inferiority, culturally biased IQ tests and blatant discrimination. In just a few hours under Ms. Elliott’s withering regime, we watch grown professionals become despondent and distracted, stumbling over the simplest commands.

Clips from her original classes and interviews with former students confirm that Jane Elliott’s workshops make them permanently more empathetic and sensitive to the problem of racism. Counselors, student program administrators, corporate trainers and psychologists agree: BLUE-EYED is a film every person needs to experience.

_

Jane Elliott, internationally known teacher, lecturer, diversity trainer, and recipient of the National Mental Health Association Award for Excellence in Education, exposes prejudice and bigotry for what it is, an irrational class system based upon purely arbitrary factors. And if you think this does not apply to you. . . you are in for a rude awakening.

In response to the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. over thirty years ago, Jane Elliott devised the controversial and startling, “Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes” exercise. This, now famous, exercise labels participants as inferior or superior based solely upon the color of their eyes and exposes them to the experience of being a minority. Everyone who is exposed to Jane Elliott’s work, be it through a lecture, workshop, or video, is dramatically affected by it.”
