“Me Too” Has BACKFIRED, American Opinion is WORSE…

Date: October 17, 2018

01) “Me Too” Has BACKFIRED, American Opinion is WORSE

Of course…being part of a demonized sexual orientation group…I’m biased, from living my life under these witch hunts and inhumane persecutions…

…I’m especially perceptive and resistant to it, whenever people start pointing fingers…looking for a place to lay blame…looking to inflict something extremely bad, upon others…

I naturally distrust [and dislike] the “me too” movement…because I recognize the witch hunting inherent in it…and I recognize the escalation it represents, in hostility towards human sexuality…

…I recognize it encourages false, or distorted, accounts of assault…

…I recognize that it encourages people to self identify as “victim”…even the people who may have only experienced a minor social irritation, or moment of awkward discomfort…possibly even one caused by personal misunderstanding…or a total misreading of the situation.

We are living in a world…where trivial things are being elevated to some sort of “personal trauma”…and that is not a good thing.

These sorts of manufactured “social epidemics”, have a horrible impact on so many of the rest of us…who aren’t doing even a single damn thing, which is sexually aggressive or inappropriate…

…I’m fed up with being collateral damage in this warped nonsense.

The sexual aggressors are the people pointing the fingers, from my vantage point…

…They always have been.

Trump Voters: I Regret My Vote…

Date: October 17, 2018

01) Trump Voters: I Regret My Vote

“Former Trump voters REALLY regret their vote.

The divisiveness in this country right now, and the rhetoric coming from the president, is a daily exhausting thing,” said Sydney Cohan, another regretful Trump voter. She added that she fears “the wannabe dictator in the White House” will suspend future elections.

Stephanie Martin, a lifelong Republican and “part of the Religious right,” said she felt “embarrassed” and was considering changing parties. “The values coming from the White House just don’t mesh up with what I believe.”

I don’t regret my sentiment that “we’ll get through this”, after Trump won…I don’t regret the elation in Hillary’s defeat, either…

What we are currently going through…this is the awful “medicine”, which the people of this country need…

…It’s a result of the disease of political apathy…decades upon decades of it.

…Hillary would have likely placated enough people, to have kept it dragging on another four to eight years…

…But Trump and Pence?…Now, that’s going to cause some healthy unrest.

I figured this was going to get pretty ugly…and it has…less than a year in.

Don’t feel bad if you voted for Trump, as a protest vote…

…The U.S. public needs to be pissed off, over it’s political state of existence…not wooed into a euphoric diversion, over having the first female U.S. president…

…There are more pressing issues…Besides…Who’s to say we haven’t already had a “woman trapped in a mans body”, as one of our previous U.S. presidents?…Think about it!…

Hopefully…the presidential aspirations of Mike Pence are also going down the toilet, along with Trump…

It’s getting harder to believe, that Pence will get elected…but we still have to worry about a Trump death, impeachment, abdication…or whatever else could happen, to give Pence an automatic swearing in.

Not that that likely makes a whole lot of difference…

…I get the feeling, there’s a lot more of a Bush Cheney dynamic going on, than is obvious on the surface.

“Today, a fast moving, sidestepping, gene-swapping free-for-all that would’ve made Darwin’s head spin.

David Quammen tells us about a shocking way that life can evolve – infective heredity. To figure it all out we go back to the earliest versions of life, and we revisit an earlier version of Radiolab. After reckoning with a scientific icon, we find ourselves in a tangle of genes that sheds new light on peppered moths, drug-resistant bugs, and a key moment in the evolution of life when mammals went a little viral.

Elizabeth Warren Calls Trump’s Bluff…

Date: October 16, 2018

01) Elizabeth Warren Calls Trump’s Bluff

“Elizabeth Warren got tired of Trump insulting her heritage.

At a July 5 rally in Montana, President Trump went on a lengthy rant about one of his favorite targets: Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and her claim to Native American ancestry.

Even then, Warren was rumored to be a likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2020. Trump, with glee, told the rally crowd he looked forward to making Warren “prove” her Native American heritage on the debate stage if the two were to square off.

“I’m going to get one of those little [DNA testing] kits and in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims she’s of Indian heritage…,” Trump said. “And we will say, ‘I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian.’ ”

The crowd cheered.

“And let’s see what she does,” Trump continued. “I have a feeling she will say no, but we’ll hold that for the debates. Do me a favor. Keep it within this room?”

Men Who Have More Sex Have a Lower Risk of Heart Attacks…

Date: October 15, 2018

01) Men Who Have More Sex Have a Lower Risk of Heart Attacks

“Scientists have found that sex seems to be good for us in many ways. For example, sexual activity has stress-relieving properties: when couples in a good quality relationship have sex on one day, they report feeling less stressed the next day. Moreover, having sex increases people’s sense of meaning in life and leads to a boost in positive mood states. Beyond these psychological effects, some research suggests that having frequent sex might also have benefits for your heart health.

In a longitudinal study of 1,165 men aged 40-70, researchers looked at how frequency of sexual activity was linked to rates of cardiovascular disease. Participants health status was tracked for an average of 16 years.

What they found was that men who had sex more often had a lower risk of developing cardiovascular disease later on. Specifically, those who had sex once per month or less were 45% more likely to develop cardiovascular problems than those who had sex 2-3 times per week or more.”

If only I had a cute, little lover boy…

…This is just another example, of how sex greatly improves our lives…while absence of sex, greatly impoverishes our lives.

Such a human tragedy, that I cannot pass on this great boon to life and health, to a deserving boy in my life.
