The day was alright for me…I just cannot celebrate this day anymore, when I know first hand what complete Bullshit it is.
The U.S. is a failed state, with a failed government [just like many individual states]…failed justice…failed human dignity…failed equality even on the most base level…
…It’s all a lie.
I’m happy to celebrate the humanity of those fucked over by the U.S, though…including those of us in its own citizenry…
…A lot of good, decent people and values to celebrate, in them.

“Newsmax host Greg Kelly could barely contain his laughter during an interview with Rudy Giuliani as the former New York City mayor retold the story about how he was viciously “assaulted” at a store over the weekend. As the clip of the incident played, Giuliani tried to claim that the slap was actually much worse than it looked on video, even though he appears to be suffering no lingering effects from it. Farron Cousins discusses this.

Former New York city mayor Rudy Giuliani was allowed to go on news max during prime time on Greg Kelly’s top rated show on the network to talk about the brutal assault that he suffered at the hands of a, uh, ShopRite employee over the weekend. And as Giuliani was recanting the tail, by the way, they were also showing the video of what happened while GII was talking about this vicious attack. Host, Greg Kelly did everything he could to contain his laughter. So take a look at this clip from news Max’s Greg Kelly, talking to Rudy Giuliani, laughing in his face about Giuliani’s version of the story. Here it is.
Let me see the video. If you don’t mind, uh, this person with the hand on your back, I gotta be honest. It doesn’t look that bad, but I, I understand that looks gonna be deceiving.
You know, that that was, that was the woman who was rubbing my back, not the guy who lit me, but you’re watching. So the woman that woman, uh, gave a statement to the police, that the guy hit me so hard that she herself almost fell from the reverberation of it. She’s a city worker. There’s a second grade detective that that’s, that’s the lady who, uh, helped me.
Oh, right. Good. Now that makes sense. Uh, well look, I’m I’m I’m I’m I’m sorry. You were roughed up, but uh, campaign trail is CRA,
You know, Greg, I kind of have the same reaction to that. You know, you sit here and you wanna laugh. You just wanna belt out a good belly laugh, right. Because it’s hilarious, but you’re sitting there letting Rudy Giuliani speak over this footage and lie about what we’re watching right there on TV. I know you wanna laugh. It is super funny. But at the same time you are letting him lie. He’s like you see that woman there, like she almost fell down too. No, she didn’t. No, she, 100% did not. We can clearly see that in the video, Rudy. And then he tries to make it sound when Greg Kelly was like, honestly, didn’t look too bad. And Juliana was like, well, no, no, no. That’s the lady that’s rubbing me as if you’re a child and you just got a boo boo. And she has to be like, sh it’s.
Okay. It’s okay, baby. It’s all. It’s all right. You’re okay. Like that’s basically what that woman was doing, but Giuliani tried to make it seem like, oh no, no, she’s not the one who slapped me when Greg Kelly was like, yeah, it doesn’t look that bad. Rudy. In fact, now that the video has emerged, of course, the individual who, you know, performed the slap, uh, has had the charges against him downgraded, uh, a bit, it’s now a third degree assault instead of a second degree, uh, still facing of course, allegations of harassment and verbal abuse. Um, but here’s the thing, unless the individual, right that 39 year old ShopRite employee, unless he pleads guilty or no contest, this thing is going to trial. This will go to a trial and Giuliani will have to appear. I mean, he is the accuser in this situation and constitutionally, the ShopRite employee has the constitutional right to face his accuser in court.
So Giuliani’s gonna have to show up, he’s gonna tell his ridiculous little story. He’s gonna lie his face off under oath. And the jury is gonna hear all of that. This individual will, of course eventually be acquitted. I, I have like no doubt about that whatsoever. Cuz Giuliani will have to get up there. He will probably have to take the stand. And that is the point where this entire prosecution will completely fall apart. And it will look as ridiculous to the eyes of that jury as it does to everybody that has watched that clip and listen to Giuliani over exaggerate. Every single thing that happened, not to mention the fact that the day after it happened, you know, when Giti described it as like a Boulder hitting him in the back, he’s out there doing campaigning, he’s standing up, he’s yelling, he’s, you know, hooting and hollering doing all these crazy things.
We’ve seen the video, he’s fine. He was not injured. And yes, in a court of law, the video of what happened the next day, him being perfectly fine is also going to prove that he did not suffer any serious, uh, injury, which could weigh in the minds of the jury. It would definitely weigh in their minds if this was a civil action. If Giuliani tried to Sue this individual.”
“A Democratic staffer was recently busted as the individual who has been “defacing” Marjorie Taylor Greene’s homophobic sign outside her Congressional office, and Greene spent an entire day on Twitter fuming about the fact that the individual isn’t going to be prosecuted. Marking up a sign with sharpies and stickers isn’t exactly an offense that a prosecutor would waste their time on, anyway, but Greene swears this isn’t over. Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

Marjorie Taylor green has spent the last couple days on Twitter having an absolute meltdown over the fact that the individual who has been defacing, her transphobic sign outside of her congressional office has been identified. And it actually happens to be the chief of staff to a democratic representative. It’s the chief of staff to, uh, Massachusetts Democrat, Jake Kinlaw. He was caught on camera. He is the one who has been defacing, Marjorie Taylor green sign that says there are only two genders, which of course she put up because the member of Congress across the hall from her has a transgender child and she was doing it to be a massive, massive piece of trash. And over the year, the sign has been defaced multiple times. She’s had to go out and get new ones made because somebody keeps writing on it with Sharpies and putting Bible quotes on it and putting stickers on it. And she wanted this individual prosecuted and the capital police. Again, they identified this as the chief of staff to, uh, representative akin clause and they recommended it for prosecution.
And then the DOJ said, yeah, we’re not gonna prosecute this. Honestly, it would be a waste of time to prosecute something like this. You’re talking about vandalism, you know, less than like $250. It would cost more for the department to prosecute this individual, uh, than it would be worth. And of course you wouldn’t be able to get any actual jail time out of it. So you’re gonna spend thousands and thousands of dollars to prosecute an individual for putting some stickers on Marjorie Taylor greens, transphobic sign, rans, phobic sign, but she’s. So she’s again spent the last couple days on Twitter. Let me read some of these tweets from her. They’re hilarious. this is Tuesday morning. Good morning from our nation’s capital where you a O DC refuses to prosecute Democrat Jake off chief of staff, Tim. He some, even though capital police referred him for criminal charges, the role of the DOJ is to enforce federal laws. Biden’s DOJ only selectively enforces federal laws. They choose to prosecute the illegals, breaking our laws at the border. Don’t matter to them. Record high. Oh listen, let me stop you right there. You dumb. You’re the ones you, the Republicans are always like, oh my God, they’ve seized all these drugs at the border. It proves Biden’s wrong. No, they got ’em oh, they caught 50 people on the most wanted list. Clearly Biden’s policies are be no, they got like, you’re straight up lying about what’s happening at the border because Biden’s actually doing his job.
She continues, sorry, American people. Yes. You pay your taxes that pays all the government salaries, including U S a O D C, but you don’t matter them. You see, under the Democrats regime, it’s a two tier justice system. They only prosecute their political enemies threats. And that is you
Have to disagree with you on that because as we all know, Merick Garland could be prosecuting a lot more people Marjorie, and I’m sorry, but a dude putting a couple stickers on your poster that you only put up again to be a piece of trash. That’s not exactly something that the DOJ really should spend a lot of time with. Not that I agree with the defacing of other people’s property, but lighten up your little snowflake. You don’t even have to have the sign out there in the first place. You did it for attention. You’re getting everything you wanted out of this. And she knows it. Folks. She knows it. And now she is still milking this for all that. It’s worth trying to claim that she is the victim because somebody with a Sharpie and some stickers isn’t being treated like the most wanted felon in the United States.”

“Can society continue its long-run trajectory and commit to institutional, legal, social, fiscal, and educational systems that can advance equality?
World-renowned economist and inequality researcher Thomas Piketty in conversation with Rob Johnson, President of the Institute for New Economic Thinking about Piketty’s just-released book, A Brief History of Equality.
The book condenses 20 years’ worth of research into inequality and provides well-founded reasons to believe that recent trends in the growth of inequality can be reversed in the not too distant future.
Piketty reminds us that the grand sweep of history gives us reasons to be optimistic. Over the centuries, his new book shows, we have been moving toward greater equality. The book guides the reader through the great movements that have made the modern world for better and worse: the growth of capitalism, revolutions, imperialism, slavery, wars, and the building of the welfare state. It’s a history of violence and social struggle, punctuated by regression and disaster. But through it all, Piketty shows, human societies have moved fitfully toward a more just distribution of income and assets, a reduction of racial and gender inequalities, and greater access to health care, education, and the rights of citizenship. Our rough march forward is political and ideological, an endless fight against injustice. To keep moving, Piketty argues, we need to learn and commit to what works, to institutional, legal, social, fiscal, and educational systems that can make equality a lasting reality. At the same time, we need to resist historical amnesia and the temptations of cultural separatism and intellectual compartmentalization. At stake is the quality of life for billions of people. We know we can do better, Piketty concludes.
I’ve never been opposed to foreign aid, or redistribution of wealth, in principle…
…I’ve never been opposed to high taxation on actual wealthy people and business entities…
…I have become an ardent supporter of Basic Universal Income [BUI]…
What do we do, however, about the mountain of corruption standing in the way of income and resources making it into the hands of the masses?…and not being used to commit atrocities?
This has always been one of the biggest outrages, about habitually sending foreign aid to places like Israel, or Saudi Arabia.
You cannot implement a global safety net, or minimum standard of security, when so called “leaders” are there to enrich themselves, while visiting cruelty on the people.
People who have no interest or care in the well being of the masses, have no place in such a system…They will stop such a system from working…
…They need to be brought down, and brought to justice.
It might sound sacrilegious to say I don’t support a free market…but fact is…I do not support a strictly free market…
…Commodity staples need to be heavily structured, in their distribution and costs…Perhaps novelty and leisure items should remain a free market.
Essentials [food, water, clothing, shelter, hygiene, health, transportation, etc.] should always be available and accessible…Cost should never be a barrier…because these are essential to survival in todays world…
…Non essentials are where they can tax, but allow public demand to dictate prices and availability.
To those opposed to this I would ask…How do you justify ranking your own greed for hording, over the literal survival and suffering of the masses?
…That strikes me as…evil…frankly.
What are you going to do with all this accumulated excess, which was originally intended to circulate among the masses in the first place?
How does your ambition “outrank” the simple survival of others?
It seems to me…if nobody is left needing and wanting because of socially institutional impoverishment…there are so many social ills which could be vastly reduced…
…Why cant people be happy, with just having enough to cover their needs?
It will free them to pick and choose their own hobbies and interests.
They can still work towards things which enrich their lives.
I think…nearly everybodys life will be better, when they no longer have to worry about money…When they’re just free to live…
…We have enough wealth, resources and technology on this planet…to where there never needs to be social inequality, of any form.
…Why don’t we have that?…Who is standing in the way?
“Krystal and Saagar cover the reports of GOP operatives being surprised at how little Democrats are doing on Roe and the questions about Dem inaction being asked in conservative media”
That’s the thing…the democratic party is completely corrupt and dysfunctional.
It is total insanity, to give democrats your vote…
…It’s every bit as insane, as giving republicans your vote.
You’re doing more good with your vote, by voting for any dead rat laying on the side of the road.
“During an appearance at a Christian center this past weekend, Republican Representative made a comment that has since gone viral that proves she knows nothing about the US Constitution and how the government works. Boebert claimed that the church is supposed to direct the government, and that “separation of church and state” doesn’t actually exist. She’s misleading the public and they absolutely love what they hear. Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

At an event at a Christian center in Colorado this past weekend, Lauren Bobert, uh, basically told a crowd that she has no idea how the federal government works or what’s even in the constitution. Now, those were not the words that she used, but the words that she did use imply that she is very ignorant about how this country was both founded. And of course, how it runs today. So what did she say that was so profoundly stupid? Let me read you the reason we had so many overreaching regulations in our nation is because the church complied the church is supposed to direct the government. The government is not meant to direct the church. That is not how our founding fathers intended it. And I’m tired of the separation of church and state junk. That’s not in the constitution. It was in a stinking letter and it means nothing like what they say it does.
She is a recourse referring to a letter from one of the founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson written, and I believe 1802, um, to the Baptist convention where he mentions of course, separation of church and state. So at one point she’s like, we’ve gotta do what the founders intended. And then she’s like, oh, this one founder. Yeah, screw this guy to hell with Thomas Jefferson, who of course, uh, had created his own Bible where he omitted all the miracles of Jesus and just focused on the teachings to be a better human being, which is what Republicans really forgot to take away from the Bible. They, they actually omitted all the, the teachings and just focused on like, oh wow, cool. He did some really neat magic tricks. That’s awesome. The church has meant to direct the government. Eh, no. See Lauren, if you were to go back and learn, literally just basic history, which I know, you know, you, and I’m not saying this in a horrible, you know what, I’m not even gonna say it.
I’m not even gonna go after her education at all. But those of us with even a rudimentary understanding of world history know that one of the big drivers to even establish the colonies here in the United States was escaping religious persecution. And of course, religious indoctrination, religious rule, again, one of many reasons of course, but that, that was a big factor. And so when, when it came time to write our own constitution in the bill of rights, that was weighing heavily on everybody’s minds, of course they weren’t the original people coming over here, but they understood. They remembered they, they knew their history, unlike Lauren Bobert and they didn’t want to go back down that path. They did not want religion and government to be intertwined in any way. That’s why that’s the first amendment to the us constitution. And sure you can
Quibble about whether or not it actually says the phrase separation of church and state, you know, is that what it means? What it says is what it means is that the United States is not gonna prop up any single religion. You are free to worship free to practice as you please, but you also cannot impose your religion on anybody else. That is what that first amendment means. And that is what Laura Bobert of course is trying to obscure. And when she made these comments, of course, RA rockus applause from the crowd, they loved it. They would love nothing more than to live in a theocracy, right? They love to attack all the other theocracies around the globe like, oh, these horrible people are brutally oppressed by this religion. And they are completely blind to the fact that they’re literally trying to do that here in the United States to the exact same degree of the people that they criticize, actually, in some instances far worse than that, but that’s not the only crazy stupid thing that Lauren BT said.
She also had this to say about Donald Trump and because God called a man who was not a politician to run for office. And I believe that he was anointed for that position. He answered that call despite what other people were saying, despite all the negatives that they were listening and, and saying how unqualified he was. He said, I think I can do something good for this nation. And three Supreme court justices were installed.”
