“It is in difficult choices where character is both formed and revealed. This test will present you with 16 scenarios with difficult choices designed to reveal your character. Read each scenario and choose the option that best matches how you would decide to act given the circumstances.
The scenarios refer to familiar titles and places but should not be thought of in terms of current characters or situations. Think of them as having occurred 100 years in the past.
At the end, your responses will be assessed and a report will be generated. The report will contain one primary character and two secondary characters from the Game Of Thrones universe that you are most similar to.”
Primary Character: Davos Seaworth

Your primary character is Davos Seaworth. Some people say you’re the most honorable, brave and loyal person they know. You are the voice of reason to the people who lose their way and your counsel is valued and sought. You give honest advice even when it may not be well receive – you speak truth to power. You always seek to add to your knowledge and improve yourself.”

Interestingly done survey…
…This is a good grouping to be in.
My only real complaint, is that my honesty level was placed so low…I mean…I’m fairly confident it’s because I chose to eat the body…But still…Do Not Judge Me!…I was starving and freezing!…It was practical!…He didn’t need it anymore, anyway!
I would never result to cannibalism, except in an extremely extreme situation…and probably not even then…
Probably my decision to slip out the back door, when the king wants to burn down the city…Yeah, okay…I’m totally honest, but I’m not stupid!
It just feels wrong, that this sort of stuff counts against my “honesty” level…Especially when my honesty, is my most pronounced trait in real life.
Otherwise…I like the way my traits compare to those of the named characters.
I think Davos is the most fair character to liken me too…while Jeor is definitely another character I identify with [really, really liked and respected], but placing myself in his shoes is a bit too idealistic…Mance is a very interesting result…If I had to choose between the three, I think I’d have to go with Mance…In so many regards, he is me.

The official EQF stance on hate speech, is as follows…
1) Hate speech is a real thing, though it’s impossible to regulate it with genuine integrity.
2) It’s also easy to misinterpret what is hate speech, making laws against it a dangerous thing.
3) Not all people judged to be engaged in hate speech, are intentionally doing so.
4) Laws should never exist, which attempt to regulate the expression and exploration of ideas.
5) Addressing the problem of hate speech, is an issue of improving social awareness and cultural attitudes.
By definition…”hate speech” is any expression made with the intent to dehumanize, taint, injure, cripple, impoverish, insight violence or discrimination against, and cause fear against, a specific targeted minority or individual. It’s speech with malice behind it, where the goal is to crush other people in life devastating ways…in ways which might even lead to their murder…
This behavior does, in fact, exist…And it thrives, rather well, despite all the laws against it…
One of the primary reasons why I periodically point out hate speech, despite having a history of strongly condemning laws against it…is to point out the hypocrisy in the structure and enforcement of those laws…
…Indeed…some of the supporters, and drafters, of these laws, engage in hate speech themselves…The only nuance being, that they do it against minorities excluded from the “protection” of those laws.
Another reason I discuss genuine hate speech, is to explore the effects of hate speech on the targeted minorities…which can become devastating.
It’s important not to see “hate speech” everywhere you look, however…
rightwingwatch.org places on display many examples of bigotry…some of which are hate speech…This does not make rightwingwatch.org an agent of hate speech…as their purpose is to offer it up for broader critique.
In the same spirit…this blog also sometimes displays content, highlighting hate speech and bigotry…or even just current social conflict, of a difficult and controversial nature…often what is expressed, I strongly disagree with.
This in no way should imply, in the mind of anyone, that I support or promote hate speech…On the contrary, I condemn hate speech, in no uncertain terms.
…But the misconception I’ve seen wielded against EQF resources, leads me to my last point…
…The distortion of “hate speech” as a weapon against unpopular ideas…or against the people who hold unpopular opinions…likely represents the single most dangerous thing about the concept of “hate speech”.
The writing has been on the wall, since before “hate speech” law even became a real thing…that the root motive behind these laws, are the suppression of speech, itself…leading to the suppression of society and freedom.
“Hate speech” law is the death knell, to any group finding itself socially stigmatized, by culture itself.
It doesn’t matter who you are, what your intention is, or how you objectively behave…If interpretation of you can be warped badly enough…they can equate your speech with “being dangerous”…or with somehow being “hate speech”…
This directly relates to MAP’s…in that many people assert things to us, which are preposterously untrue…Such as the accusation “we want a society, where raping children is legal”…With this false paradigm, they assert that our speech qualifies as “hate speech” [because it’s allegedly “working towards” such a goal]…and further assert that it must be censored, out of an illusionary sense of “community safety”.
Of course…this type of censorship can only have the opposite effect…Witch hunts solve nothing…They only compound the conflict.
…And that’s the problem with “hate speech” law…It’s rooted in the mindset of witch hunting.
It’s an extreme negative, heavy handed, destructive and clumsy approach, where we need something much more positive and enlightening.

“Atari is working on a gaming console, CEO Fred Chesnais said in an interview with GamesBeat at E3 2017.
Chesnais wouldn’t say much about the device, telling GamesBeat only that Atari is “back in the hardware business.” The last gaming console from Atari was the Jaguar, which debuted in 1993 and was discontinued in 1996.
Atari posted the brief video above on June 8, teasing a device called the Ataribox. The title of the video on YouTube calls it “a brand new Atari product” that is “years in the making.” Interested parties can sign up on the Ataribox website for more information.”

Harris also talks about the strange proposition for believing that the creator of the universe demands recognition of it’s existence upon insufficient evidence and threatens eternal damnation with hell fire for those who don’t believe.”

…I’m generally very careful [especially when I’m not giving any commentary of my own] to pick content that emphasizes both productive dialogue, and clear communication of ideas.
No…I’m confident not everybody is going to like what is being discussed, in every bit of media I share here…And I cannot please everyone, so I am at peace with that.
I’m most concerned with bringing issues to the surface, where they can be observed and talked about in the open…and people getting emotional, is just part of the process…It’s not something to run away from, or imagine that “the process is a failure” just because some people are getting upset.
I do follow a few loose rules, though…
…such as, I don’t normally share content from people who swear a lot, or behave especially belligerent…
…That doesn’t mean you can’t find a few examples of that here…After all, people who troll Social Justice Warriors, often bring up a lot of vital, important issues…and they usually just cut to the point, of what is so wrong in SJW rational and tactics.
Even in those rare cases…the media creator is sharing good insight…which is why the media was chosen.
Sometimes I share the media of people I fundamentally disagree with…and I provide a counter argument, viewpoint and related thoughts, myself…
…Again…it is all about the dialogue, and the pieces of wisdom shared.
It’s clear that some people leave “drive by” comments, where they’ve not even taken the time to understand…much less appreciate, this fact about Our Love Frontier…
…This blog is a dialogue aggregator [with a bunch of other fun, atmospheric stuff mixed in, because it reflects the type of person I am]…With a tiny bit of genuine looking around here…you cannot possibly miss this fact.
…Some people find this alien and offensive?…
…I expected this, yes…And keep in mind…their venom laced commentaries only attest to the sorts of people they are…
…They display that they are the sorts who shout down, threaten, intimidate and silence others…
Our Love Frontier, fundamentally, is an antidote to what they do and how they think.
Of course…they are going to get riled up, wherever they see a place of calm, respectable, orderly dialogue, existing in defiance of their chaotic tyranny.
That is all they are…chaotic noise, meant to disrupt the clear headed dialogue…
Here at Our Love Frontier, we don’t let disruptive noise rule the day.
