“(October 27, 2009) Julie Theriot, Associate Professor of Biochemistry and of Microbiology and Immunology at Stanford, discusses the different types of microorganisms present in the human body and their functions, the distinction between disease-causing and benign or helpful microorganisms, and the interactions between human cells and both harmful and helpful microorganisms.

Stanford Mini Med School is a series arranged and directed by Stanford’s School of Medicine, and presented by the Stanford Continuing Studies program.”

Over twelve years old…so, take that into account…There may have been some advances in understanding since.

I sometimes find myself wrestling with where to draw the line, concerning what to share in this series. I’m not looking for ghoulish spectacle, or stuff that unnerves and creeps people out.

Even I am a little bit…”Mmmm…I don’t know…” about this one…Yet, the question is fundamental, even cutting edge, in the discussion of what “dignified death” means.

I don’t imagine I’d “want” to attend such an event…though I don’t see it as being inconsistent with dignity, if that’s what the deceased, the family, the friends and community wanted.

I ultimately would support this kind of thing…It’s about as natural as anything else, I suppose…Just because the body is not in a casket, does not make the gathering invalid…or wrong.

I was shocked that they only need straight formaldehyde, to accomplish this. I figured some sort of extra support would be necessary.

“The decline of christianity” seems to be a favorite talking point, these days…

I absolutely get it, that feeling like “we’re all on the same team” is a social unifying concept for many people…

…And I know how I’m about to respond isn’t exactly correct for the given statement…but I cannot help but have “be careful what you wish for” going through my mind, whenever I hear people think “the decline of christianity” is fundamental to our social woes.

Freeing of the mind and expression is an objectively good thing…We don’t want the hellscape, of a christian majority…Nobody, including most of the self labeled christians, is going to be happy with that…other than the really insane extremists and tyrants.

It’s good that christianity is not taken serious, by the majority…It’s dangerous to have christianity, as a dominant social force.

I say the exact same thing about all religions.

Trump Is Now FUMING About Endorsing Loser Dr. Oz…

“According to reports, sources close to Donald Trump have confirmed that the former President is absolutely livid that he ever endorsed Dr. Oz in his senate race, and he firmly believes that Oz is going to lose badly. Polls are already showing that Oz is a toxic candidate, and even Mitch McConnell has poked at the issue, which has only made Trump even angrier. Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

According to a new report from rolling stone magazine that spoke to two people close to Donald Trump. The former twice impeached president is furious about the fact that he endorsed Dr. Oz up in that Senate race in Pennsylvania. According to what these sources close to Donald Trump told rolling stone, Donald Trump is grossing about the fact that quote, he’s going to effing lose, which is pretty astute observation for Donald Trump. Who’s not exactly known for making astute observations, but, uh, yeah, based on current polling data, which of course could change between now and the election. But it does appear that Dr. Oz is going to lose and see Trump’s problem is not just that Dr. Oz is going to lose in Pennsylvania. It’s that his handpicked candidate, Doug Mao for governor is also doing exceptionally poorly. But if it were just those two, right, Donald Trump could come up with some kind of explanation and say, well, Hey, it’s just Pennsylvania.

It’s a weird state full of weird people, right? But he’s also mad about Herschel Walker. He’s mad about JD Vance. He’s mad about a lot of the people that he has endorsed that are really doing pathetically poorly in the polls. So he’s got a lot to be angry about, but of course, the Dr. Oz race really is the one that he thought he had it in the bag, right? According to reports, Sean Hannity is actually the guy that convinced Dr. Oz, that he needed to run Hannity. Then again, this is all according to these reports convinced Trump to endorse Dr. Oz Oz got a boost, won the primary just barely, but he’s not resonating with the residents in Pennsylvania because John Federman has done a phenomenal job of painting Oz as a carpet bagger from New Jersey. But there’s something else too Oz, much like Donald Trump had no political background whatsoever, right?

Neither man had ever hold held an office before they ran for office. Trump of course did win the presidency after losing the popular vote in 2016. But Oz doesn’t have the benefit of an college. If you lose the popular vote in the Senate race, you are done. It’s over. You’ve lost. The problem is, and it’s not just by the way for Dr. Oz. I think this goes for Herschel Walker too, is that Trump made it look easy. Trump made it appear that even the dumbest person out there who says the most horrible things you could have ever imagined can still somehow get elected to office. And in a way, his election did kind of prove that, right? We, we lowered the bar so much that the bar’s not even held up anymore. It’s just laying on the

Ground. And yet still some Republicans are burrowing underneath it to go even lower than that bar. And they’re not having a good time of it. Either. Trump did make it look easy. Of course he was helped by the fact that Hillary Clinton has really never been a hugely popular public figure. You know, I mean her approval rating was always below 50% during that campaign, majority of Americans did not like her. So, you know, he had that benefit going for him too. And in the end still lost the popular vote by 3 million votes. So technically Hillary should have won if we had a real, actual fair democratic system here in the United States, which of course thanks to the electoral college. We do not. But a lot of these other idiots out there like Dr. Oz, like Herschel Walker, they looked at that and they said, Hey, why not me too? And it’s not going well for any of them, but they all managed to get Trump’s endorsement. And if November rolls around and these people end up losing, Trump’s gonna be even matter than when the FBI showed up in Malago.”
