He is currently the co-director of the Center for Cognitive Studies and the Austin B. Fletcher Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University. Dennett is an atheist and secularist, a member of the Secular Coalition for America advisory board, and a member of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, as well as an outspoken supporter of the Brights movement. I swear…I could run down a long grocery list of names, of the most hostile aggressors towards MAPs online, I’ve seen over the past twenty years…And they always end up being these sorts of hysterical, shallow thinking, cognitively disconnected, dogmatic, mental whack jobs. It’s important for people to understand what is going on with these shysters… …They arrive online…get a tiny taste of power and “meaning in life”, and they go mad as some self styled, internet superhero…A “savior of children”, in some convoluted narrative they’ve made up in their own heads…Once they’ve arrived at that point, they self absolve of all responsibility, because they’re “fighting for a higher cause”…”They can do no wrong”…So they don’t give a flying fart, over whether or not they’re actually speaking truth… …It’s all about the image and persona, and their dogmatic worldview…Sometimes, it’s also about their personal malice, and enjoyment of excercising it over other people. A few excerpts:

Over a decade of fighting tooth n nail, for every inch of ground I can get… …Dealing with absolute horrible, devastating blows of censorship and setbacks, for most of it… …And “Ms. 4 months new” arrives on the scene imagining she has anything to say at all, about my history…”down easy street”, allegedly. …And “Our Love Frontier” being funded?…Yes, out of my personal pocket…If I set up a funding account, it would get shut down, fast. I don’t have any sugar daddies, who send money my way…Don’t have anyone who wants to step up, and help run the blog, either. Hell…There is barely anyone else who even contributes content to the blog… The reason Our Love Frontier is this present and loud, is because I am this present and loud, and I’ll have it no other way. If there were 100 of me, and we got together…We would be ruling the world…one way, or another. “Luciferians rule the world”…”Pokémon Go are real demons”…”Alex Jones is legit”…and way more, I forgot… She’s hung herself, before she’s even gotten much rope. She’s another eater of the conspiracy theory salad…No healthy skepticism present…And she claims NAMBLA started ANTIFA?… …Oh dear Jesus!…I cannot stop laughing!… “This” is exactly the sort of thing I experienced and witnessed in organized religion, and left behind…a choice for the better. What’s so sad and disturbing, is that they are being entirely sincere…and they don’t even comprehend, what is so wrong with their words. They suggested that “all this abuse” was being done, to maybe “open a portal for Satan”… I cannot comprehend why, these two would not be diagnosed with a mental illness. Sure, these sorts have been around forever…but if they got placed in a psychiatrists office, are we really going to bet against such a diagnosis? |

“Jacob C. was 11 years old and living in Michigan when he was tried in juvenile court for touching, without penetrating, his sister’s genitals. Found guilty of one count of criminal sexual conduct,[1] Jacob was placed on Michigan’s sex offender registry and prevented by residency restriction laws from living near other children.
This posed a problem for his family— Jacob’s parents were separated, his father lived in Florida, and Jacob could not live in the same house as his little sister. As a result, he was placed in a juvenile home. When Jacob was 14—and still unable to return home—he became the foster child of a pastor and his wife. According to Jacob, the couple helped him to “deal with the trauma” of growing up on the registry.
Since his offense fell under juvenile court jurisdiction, Jacob was placed on a non-public registry. But that changed when he turned 18 during his senior year in high school, and his status as a sex offender became public.”

01) Presumption of Innocence Applies Regardless of How Horrible the Accusation
“Why isn’t our mainstream media questioning the multitude of breaches against the presumption of innocence and the Rule of Law in the Jason “Byrd” Dickens & Dylan McEwen case? No evidence has been presented to a judge to justify keeping them in jail for 4+ months. No bail hearings. An unknown source gave “information” to the police in January of 2016. Who is this source? Only one of them has a lawyer (as of the day this video was posted). The media conference implies they were arrested on Aug 25th, when actually they were charged on Aug 25th, after most likely being arrested in April of 2016. The police conference video, linked below, creates more questions than answers. Watch and decide for yourself if you think they’re being treated fairly and with the presumption of innocence.”

I probably would have had fun taking the pictures, especially if they were a stranger over the internet…Back then, I was always a bit of an exhibitionist. I loved the idea of being outside naked, where anyone could have seen me. I’m not really sure why…Maybe it was natural pushback, to the puritanical environment I was living in?…Maybe it was my way of finding a natural balance for myself? …But, that doesn’t mean I don’t understand the problem of people getting too pushy. One of the things I always hated about living in a sexually repressive culture, is having to navigate relational encounters of a sexual nature…Most specifically, the hard situation of dying to approach someone you are interested in, while mortified that things will go really bad after you float the idea to them. There are just so many additional pitfalls, created by society. I’ve often asked…why can’t the facts of life “just be there”, visible and learnable without shame…while those interested can self elect to make their interest known? The unnecessary complications have never made any sense to me…It just seems we are saddling people, with an unhealthy mental complex. Getting back to the video: In a better world, we probably would not broadcast private interactions to the rest of the world…But, she didn’t give legal names or pictures…so…I cannot say she handled herself wrong, here…nor during her interaction with this person, as it was happening. She is right…It’s scummy to use another person like that, just to get with someone else…It’s also creepy, trying to push a sexual thing after you’ve already told them you’re not interested. That he would attempt leveraging buying her stuff, anonymously, off of her [Amazon.com?] wish list, is also bad. It sounds to me like he is a product of the puritanical culture, I was just talking about… In my humble opinion…all issues of human relations should be out in the open, where they can be observed, guided and held accountable. The fact that this normally is not the case for kids and young people, has led to a kind of forced existence…where child and youth sexuality occurs in an underground. naïve and unaccountable environment. When there is nothing else there to guide them…and when they feel they cannot seek out this guidance…people come up with their own ideas and plans, to get what they want…Sometimes, it’s a really bad plan. So much of this kind of thing could be avoided, if we would just be open and honest about these issues.
