01) Trump Supporters Trying To Intimidate Early Voters at Polls

“Trump supporters are intimidating voters.

As Virginia entered its first weekend of early voting, a group of Trump supporters at a polling location in northern Virginia chanted “four more years” and forced county election officials to provide “escorts” to get some voters past the group.

The incident, which happened at the county board of elections in the D.C. suburb of Fairfax, followed a rally nearby featuring Republican National Committee co-chair Tommy Hicks, the New York Times reported. Afterward, the group reportedly migrated over to the voting site.

01) Seattle Cop Runs Over Protester’s Head

“Another despicable act from a police officer was caught on video.

A Facebook live stream of a Breonna Taylor protest in downtown Seattle on Wednesday night captured the moment a police officer pushed his bike over the head of a protester lying on the street.

The disturbing incident, captured on video by CJ Halliburton, who regularly live-streams from protests, shows a man wearing a helmet lying on the ground in front of a line of police. As the police advance on protesters, one of the officers, rather than stopping to help, pushes his bike over the man, with the front wheel going over his head and the back wheel over his neck.

The Pentagon Is Using COVID Relief Money For…

01) The Pentagon Is Using COVID Relief Money For

“The Pentagon is using pandemic relief money for war.

A $1 billion fund Congress gave the Pentagon in March to build up the country’s supplies of medical equipment has instead been mostly funneled to defense contractors and used to make things such as jet engine parts, body armor and dress uniforms.

The change illustrates how one taxpayer-backed effort to battle the novel coronavirus, which has killed more than 200,000 Americans, was instead diverted toward patching up long-standing perceived gaps in military supplies.

The Cares Act, which Congress passed earlier this year, gave the Pentagon money to “prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.” But a few weeks later, the Defense Department began reshaping how it would award the money in a way that represented a major departure from Congress’s intent.
