“Republican Senator Marco Rubio believes that the country is going to Hell and that we have lost all of our allies, all because Bud Light hired a transgender influencer to promote their product. Republicans have completely lost their minds over a simple beer can, which might be proof that they were never that mentally stable to begin with. Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

Well, folks, it is official, according to Republican Senator Marco Rubio, the United States is going to hell and our global image has been shattered because of Bud Light. I I, I wish I was here with more positive news for you today. I, I wish I had an uplifting, hopeful message, but apparently Bud Light has doomed the United States of America because they paid a transgender influencer to promote their product. So the United States, as we know it is apparently, I guess just dead here, is Marco Rubio on Fox News proclaiming that the woke beer is somehow empowering our enemies and turning off our allies. Here he is.
And, and our culture, what is, what we focused on as a culture. We’re focused on the fact that now some man pretending to be a woman gets paid millions of dollars to sell Nike sports bras and Bud Light. So the world looks at that and said, this place is a laughing stock and they react to it. And I could go on for an hour about all the things that we are, we are being embarrassed on the world stage. Our adversaries are taking advantage of it, and our friends are saying, Hey, we may have to go on on our own here cuz these guys look like they’re about to commit societal suicide.
Dude, it’s, it’s beer. I mean, if, if our allies are gonna say, well, we’re not gonna be friends with them anymore over beer, then were they ever really our friends in the first place? Do you honestly think that our enemies are out there? Do you think Russia is sitting there saying, oh good, I’m not gonna do a Russian accent. I’m so sorry. Do you think they’re over there in Russia saying, good, the Bud Light has taken them down. We tack now. No, that’s not happening. You think Kim Jong on is over there saying like, oh boy, because they’ve got the transgender influencer pushing Bud Light, we can now launch our missiles. That’s not a thing, Marco. That’s not happening anywhere on the planet. What’s funny about the whole thing is that none of it would even be an issue if you, little idiot conservative snowflakes weren’t making it an issue.
I promise you, nobody outside of our borders here in the United States gives a who Bud Light is paying to push their product. That’s, that’s not a thing anybody cares about. And by the way, do you honestly think that our, our, our enemies across the globe are looking at us? They could go, well, they’re weak now because of the Bud Light. I guess that means they no longer have all those, those missiles and the nukes and all. No, they’re not not afraid of us anymore. Our culture, whatever the hell you’re calling that is not being destroyed, our global image has not deteriorated because of a woke beer.
I have said it before and I’m gonna say it again here because he keeps proving me, right? Marco Rubio is the dumbest human being in the United States Senate right now, possibly ever. Alright. This man is so painfully stupid and I don’t just mean like some of the conservatives out there who pretend to be stupid, you know, so that the other conservatives will follow along. No, Marco Rubio is genuinely dumb. Like, so dumb. I don’t know who dresses him in the morning, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t do it himself because he can’t figure out how a button works. That’s how stupid I think this man is and he keeps proving me, right? That’s the worst part of it. Like every time I think Marco Rubio can’t get any dumber, he comes along and says, hold my woke beer because I’m gonna do something even stupider today. That is Marco Rubio. And unfortunately, he is one of my senators here in Florida and he thinks that the United States has lost our global standing because of promotional, uh, thing with Bud Light. Like that’s the thing that’s gonna take America down, bud Light hiring a transgender influencer to push their product.
Insane, idiot politicians, and the insane idiots who keep electing them there, are what has destroyed our global reputation…Hell, they’ve destroyed the actual country.
“Jim Jordan has announced plans to highlight the alleged “out of control” crime rate in New York City in an attempt to trash Alvin Bragg, but Bragg’s office fired back with a letter pointing out that the crime rate is actually worse in Jordan’s home state than it is in New York. Republicans love to talk about runaway crime rates in blue cities while completely ignoring the fact that red states actually have far higher rates. Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

Well, folks, Jim Jordan is apparently not done trying to take down Manhattan District Attorney. Alvin Bragg and Jordan, through his judiciary committee, has announced that on April 17th, he is gonna take some of his lawmakers on a little field trip to New York City. And during their little field trip, they’re gonna hold what’s called a field hearing on the rampant crime rate in New York City. Trying to, of course, highlight the fact that, hey, we’ve got people out here stealing Tylenol from Rite Aid, but you’re choosing to go after Donald Trump instead. That’s the whole point of it. So Alvin Bragg’s office, an aid for Alvin Bragg released a statement smacking down Jim Jordan and letting him know that if you wanna talk about rising crime rates, you don’t have to spend taxpayer dollars to come to New York. You can literally go home where the murder rate is three times higher than it is in Manhattan.
Uh oh, Jim, looks like you didn’t do your homework, you didn’t look at the statistics of your own backyard, where the murder rate is 15.2 versus 5.0 for New York City. Yeah. So where you live, where you’re from, where you represent, you’re three times more likely to be murdered than in the city of New York where Alvin Bragg is the district attorney. Now, this is something, by the way, that I have been pointing out very frequently, both here and over at Ring of Fire, because it turns out that sure, the crime rate in the state, in the city of New York has increased the crime rate overall for property crime, vandalism, burglaries, things like that. Bad crimes. Don’t get me wrong, you shouldn’t do those things, but the murder rate has gone down. Now, as I mentioned in uh, uh, Columbus, Ohio, the murder rate, oh, I’m sorry, it’s 15.4 murders per 100,000 citizens. So it is a little higher than what I said. I’m sorry. It’s even worse.
Come down here to the state of Florida. Our property crime has decreased, but our governor, Ron DeSantis, was recently, of course, attacking Alvin Bragg for the crime rate in New York City. But what Ron DeSantis didn’t mention is that the murder rate here in Florida and the violent crime rate has skyrocketed well above what we see in Manhattan. So, sure, you might be more likely to get robbed in Manhattan, but you’re more likely to get murdered here in the state of Florida. You’re more likely to get murdered in Jim Jordan’s district than you are in Manhattan. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t wanna
Be the, the victim of any crime. But if, but if I had to pick between, you know, getting mugged or getting shot in the face, I’m gonna go with get mugged every time, because one, I never carry cash on me. By the time they could use my debit card, I would’ve already called my bank and, uh, you know, had that canceled. So really, it’s just a minor inconvenience for me. However, getting shot in the face and dying, that, that’s, that’s probably gonna be a big hindrance on, uh, on, on my family. So I’m gonna go with getting mugged over getting shot, but that’s what republicans don’t want to tell you. They want to hammer, oh my God, the crime is outta control in California, New York, these blue states. It’s so terrible. But then when you actually look at the statistics, which apparently nobody freaking does, you realize that the highest crime rates in this country are actually taking place in red districts.
And red states stats don’t lie. Crime numbers don’t lie. And while all of these Republicans are trying to distract you, like, oh, look at Alvin Bragg. Look at all the crime, he’s not prosecuting. Sure, maybe the DA’s office, uh, is a little bit busy and they don’t wanna prosecute petty theft. They don’t wanna prosecute shoplifting. They, they don’t wanna spend the, the resources to go out and find somebody who mugs somebody for 20 bucks. They would rather take on the big white collar criminals, which is something that honestly, they should be doing more of well beyond Donald Trump. But if you wanna look at the places where you’re more likely to be killed, all you gotta do is follow a Republican back to their district and you’ll see what rampant crime actually looks like.

“House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan continues to abuse his power with his Committee, this time by sending letters to colleges across the country demanding information about their efforts to combat “disinformation.” In a letter sent last month, Jordan has already accused the colleges – without any evidence – of taking part in a massive censorship effort of right wing media. Farron Cousins explains why efforts to fight lies in the media ALWAYS leave Republicans on edge.

House judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan just loves abusing his power. And so far his weaponization committee hearings have been a total flop. A flop to the point where even Fox News host Jesse Waters has basically gone on the air recently and asked pointblank, where are the bombshells? Like, you’ve been doing this for months and you’ve given us nothing because you’ve come up with nothing. But Jim Jordan’s not done, folks. And it was revealed yesterday that apparently in early March, so we’re talking about over a month ago, Jim Jordan sent letters to three different universities here in the United States demanding that they turn over all information they have about their research on disinformation in the American media. We wanna know, Jim Jordan says in his letter, if you’ve been working with the Biden administration or with social media companies to tell them what is misinformation and what is not, and they want records going back, they, they picked a, you know, certain year, uh, only to 2015, you know, when Donald Trump first got into the Republican race for the 2016 nomination. So basically right around that time that Donald Trump got into politics, Jim Jordan’s like, yeah, you know what, let’s just start right there. So all of your research on disinformation, ever since Trump started running for office, he just give it over to me and my weaponization committee because we’re pretty sure he says, um, certain third parties, including organizations like yours, may have played a role in this censorship regime by advising on so-called misinformation.
I don’t know how to tell you this bud, but most of those years that, that you’re subpoenaing or sending a letter you didn’t subpoena yet, um, Trump was president during most of those years. Not that it matters to you, but you, you are trying to see if they were working with the federal government, and again, most of those years the federal government was Republicans. I don’t, I don’t get what you’re trying to do other than intimidate these universities to not research disinformation here in the United States. Which by the way, that’s exactly what these universities and the researchers that they have working on disinformation view this as, um, lemme read this. The letters have prompted a wave of alarm among those in the field that the congressional inquiry itself, no matter what it finds we’ll lead universities to pull back on this research just as the 2024 election gets underway. Cuz you know why these people think this, because they’re smart and Jim Jordan is not. So they recognize fully what
This idiot is trying to do. He knows he’s not gonna find anything of the Biden administration telling these colleges, you gotta mark this as disinformation. I’ll feed it to my connections at Twitter and Facebook and we’ll get it pulled off there. Yay us. We’re evil. They’re not gonna find that. But already what we’re seeing is these universities saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We, we, we don’t want, we don’t want Congress to be interfering with us. We don’t want the hassle. We may end up having to hire lawyers. That’s gonna be expensive. We’re gonna have to send people down to Washington DC That is expensive. It’s easier for us if we just not do this anymore. And it’s a valuable resource that these universities provide by flagging misinformation here in the United States. But Jim Jordan knows that he’s not gonna find what he’s pretending to think he’s gonna find.
The whole point of this is him abusing his power with that committee to have a chilling effect on these universities so that they stop looking into disinformation. Because disinformation overwhelmingly comes from where right wing media. That’s not to say that we don’t have issues on the left with false information flying around.
