Sharing Personal Viewpoints

Sharing Personal Viewpoints

I know there are some people out there, who have substantial problems understanding the meaning, relevance and importance of discussion and sharing ones thoughts…And it especially becomes a sticking point to them, when others do this in a way that “stands out”…like having a blog, or podcasting…

Some people think if you do those things, you’re just an opinionated jerk who is trying to badger and control others…place yourself above others [talking down to others], like some sort of elite…etc, etc…

What I share…is personal experience and personal opinion…

Like most people, I do still have new experiences…I still engage the world, as best I can…and my opinions are still quite able to evolve.

To borrow a quote from VolodyA! [Echo of Freedom podcast]…”I cannot show you the way…I can only show you a way”…

Many people who step out into the public eye, are not doing so because they want to become some glorious leader…They do it, because they are actively making a presence for people like themselves in the public arena. They don’t have any notions of dictating truth, nor how everybody else has to think…They simply share what is going on in their own life, and in their own mind, in order to maintain a public presence and to get/keep a dialogue going…

…They want feedback…They want others involved…They want others doing their own thing, also…

They want people talking about the issues which concern them…because they know there is absolutely nothing worse, than having a social problem in the face of silence or censorship…Silence and censorship equal death and suffering…total paralysis…and never any resolution.

This is the fundamental reason, why I refuse to go silent about issues like intergenerational love….It is why I take a hard-line, and rebuke those people who act to enforce silence, and who censor or socially cripple others [especially when their victims, are members of severely disadvantaged social minorities]…The voices of people involved in, or inclined towards intergenerational love relationships, must be a part of social resolutions…They cannot be ignored…They cannot be seen, as having any lesser value.

No…I am not “laying down the law”, in whatever it is I do here…I am fighting, for the simple public existence of our voices…I am providing an alternative viewpoint, and ethical structure [which can be debated with/by anybody]…and I am shining light on many social fallacies, along the way…

So…One need not be offended, by what I do…Such offense would be an utter waste, of ones time and energy…and a gross failure, of ones personal cognition.
