I Tried Acrylic Squeegee Painting & I’m Hooked!…

“Abstract acrylic painting technique with a rubber squeegee. I tried this fast and easy paint dragging technique and loved it, although I did have some problems with it, too. Have you tried it? What do you do with the excess paint?

Essentially you put different colored blobs of paint on canvas and then drag the paint down the canvas with a window squeegee or some other tool and it creates an abstract painting.”

Mike Johnson Called Himself Moses And People Weren’t Happy…

“Mike johnson, speaker of the house, spoke for a group called the national association of christian lawmakers. I’ve been following these people for a while, so I know exactly how psychotic they are. While he was there, he compared himself to Moses. Surprisingly, that doesn’t go over too well with christian nationalists. I would have thought the opposite.”

Miriam Margolyes and David Baddiel’s Israel Debate – David Baddiel: Jews Don’t Count…

“Miriam and David disagree over whether Jewish people should talk about Israel.”

This was recorded before October 7th of 2023…So, they’re not exactly talking about the current barbaric slaughter of Palestinians…but in a roundabout way, they are.

People like Miriam might be in a better position to criticize Israel, because she is Jewish and can deflect some of the bad faith accusations thrown at the rest of us, for standing up and holding Israel to account for its own atrocities.

It really does not set well with me, that when so many of the rest of us do this, some people try to bully you with smears and name calling…just because you’ve pointed out “the king is wearing no clothes”.

Of course…as crazy as things have gotten, even Jews are being called “racist against Jews”, for nothing more than taking a humanitarian stance against the slaughter of Palestinians.

In my opinion…this is a human stance, and you need be nothing more than a decent human being, to condemn these atrocities.

Also…I’m slightly tickled to hear Miriam use one of my favorite manners of expression…

…”I don’t give a flying fart!”…

I don’t use it a lot, but I’ve been using it for a good number of years.

Not sure if I picked it up from somebody, or it just occurred to me one day.

Effectiveness of a fourth SARS-CoV-2 vaccine dose in previously infected individuals from Austria

Evidence is limited on the effectiveness of a fourth vaccine dose against coronavirus disease 2019,

in populations with prior SARS-CoV-2 infections.

We estimated the risk of COVID-19 deaths (primary outcome)

We estimated the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infections (secondary outcome)

Methods

Austria nationwide retrospective observational study.

1 November to 31 December 2022

Primarily comparing individuals with four versus three vaccine doses.

Whole population data.

Results

3,986,312 previously infected individuals

281,291 (7,1%) had four vaccinations at baseline

1,545,242 (38.8%) had three vaccinations at baseline

We recorded

69 COVID-19 deaths

89,056 SARS-CoV-2 infections
The majority of COVID-19 deaths and a significant proportion of all-cause deaths occurred in nursing home residents

Relative vaccine effectiveness (rVE) for four versus three vaccine doses

-24% against COVID-19 deaths

17% against SARS-CoV-2 infections.

Protection against infection rapidly diminished over time,

and infection risk with four vaccinations was higher during extended follow-up until June 2023.

Adjusted HR for all-cause mortality for four versus three vaccinations was 0.79.

That is people with a 4th dose were only 79% as likely to die
(Suggesting healthy vaccinee bias, i.e. healthier persons received more vaccine doses)

Discussion

In previously infected individuals, a fourth vaccination did not reduce COVID-19 death risk,

but with transiently reduced risk of SARS-CoV-2 infections,

and reversal of this effect in longer follow-up.

All-cause mortality data suggest healthy vaccinee bias.

More details

Mostly Pfizer vaccine, some Moderna

In this study, overall case fatality rate, 0.08%.

(IFR, ? 0.008% if 10% of infections picked up)

Individuals with repeated previous infections had reduced re-infection risk

Natural immunity may be a main determinant of immunological protection in a population

By end 2022, the vast majority of the global population had already acquired some immune protection

Compared to three vaccine doses, those with fewer or no vaccinations did not differ with regard to COVID-19 mortality,

but had reduced risk of SARS-CoV-2 infections.

In 2022, infection fatality rates due to SARS-CoV-2 significantly declined suggesting transitioning into endemicity.

In general, our study results question whether recommendations for repeated vaccine boosters against SARS-CoV-2 are currently justified for large parts of the general population with a history of previous infections.

Measures against SARS-CoV-2 including vaccine policy should be critically re-assessed for their risk-to-benefit ratio.

As most SARS-CoV-2 infections are asymptomatic or mild in an endemic phase,

effectiveness of vaccinations should be primarily evaluated according to hard clinical outcomes (e.g. COVID-19 deaths)

Extended follow-up

From 1 January to 30 June 2023

Omicron XBB.1.5. was the predominant variant

225 COVID-19 deaths

174,174 SARS-CoV-2 infections.

Analyses in 2023 confirm no relative vaccine effectiveness (rVE) for four versus three vaccine doses for COVID-19 mortality,

but show higher risk of SARS-CoV-2 infections with a rVE of −17%”

Arizona Supreme Court Approves Disciplinary Actions Against Kari Lake’s Lawyers…

Date: December 18, 2023

“The Arizona state Supreme Court has given the go-ahead for the state Bar Association to conduct disciplinary hearings against the team of lawyers that brought Kari Lake’s bogus election claims to court. The lawyers could face sanctions, at a minimum, or possibly lose their law licenses in the state completely, depending on how the hearings play out. The only problem is that Lake is getting off without punishment, as Farron Cousins explains.

*This transcript was auto-generated. Please excuse any typos.

Three lawyers that represented Carrie Lake and her election challenge lawsuits in the state of Arizona. Well, they are now, thanks to a ruling from the Arizona Supreme Court disciplinary panel going to face actions from the state bar of the state of Arizona. So here’s what happened. The, the Arizona State Supreme Court, their disciplinary panel, which is a separate group that they set up to look at what’s going on, make sure lawyers are operating within the parameters of the law. And they finally, after investigating, decided that the claims that Kerry Lake’s lawyers made, because they claimed that these were statements of fact. And that is like, that is the key here. The statements of fact that they made were totally false, pretty much fabricated. And therefore these state bar has no choice but to launch these disciplinary hearings into what to do about these lawyers. Now lemme read you this, this is from raw story.

Uh, Arizona Supreme Court attorney disciplinary panel on December 8th found probable cause to take formal act formal action against Brian Blem, a Scottsdale divorce lawyer, and Kurt Olsson, an employment attorney from Washington DC who represented Lake in her attempt to overturn the results of the election. Another lake attorney Andrew Parker, who along with Olsson represented Lake and former Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem, in a 2022 lawsuit during which they challenged the use of ballot tabulating machines, was also the subject of a probable cause order. The probable cause order clears the way for the state bar to file formal complaints against the trio, which would be overseen by a judge who handles attorney disciplinary matters. Now, uh, Blim and Olson had already been ordered, you know, way, way back, and I talked about it at the time, to pay $2,000, $2,000 in sanctions for filing these frivolous lawsuits.

But here’s, here’s the key here in the lawsuit, they said that it was a statement of fact that 35,000 ballots were improperly inserted into the final vote count in Arizona, which of course would’ve given, given Kerry Lake the victory. But they said it was a fact that 35,000 ballots were inserted and then repeatedly during appeal, during lawsuit appeal of that new lawsuit, everything else failed to show any evidence suggesting that any of that ever happened. So the disciplinary panel at the Supreme Court said, you made this claim as a statement of fact, and then you didn’t back it up. So, so you lied in court. You know, lawyers are not allowed to lie in court, just like the defendants, just like the plaintiffs, the lawyers can also not make false statements of fact. So because they did that according to

The disciplinary panel, they now have probable cause to believe that, you know, something happened. We gotta look into this, um. There’s also another one that Blem is facing because Blem claimed in a post on social media, on Twitter, um, I gotta read this again from raw story, uh, on August 12th, he accused the CIA and Department of Justice of conspiring to coerce the Arizona Supreme Court into creating a misinformation board. The purpose of that board, he contended, was to deter attorneys from bringing legitimate election fraud claims and ultimately prevent Donald Trump from being reelected president in 2020. He says he has proof of this claim, but he can’t show us the proof because, you know, he may need it for a future lawsuit. That’s what he said, that’s what he is told the court like, oh, I could totally show you that the CIA and the DOJ were involved in this.

But, you know, I ca I I don’t wanna show you now, I’m gonna use it later on in another lawsuit, even though I could lose my license if I don’t show it to you, he’s, he’s not showing it ’cause he is saving it. He’s not showing it because it doesn’t exist. That’s what we’re dealing with here. Now, the only thing about this story that bothers me is that nothing happens to Kerry Lake. Now I get that these lawyers should have just laughed at her when she came to their office or called up their offices saying, Hey, would you do this? So yes, they do share a huge part of the blame for.
