Addressing ‘The Taint’ Complaint…

Date: June 19, 2017 The EQ Foundation would like to address a recurring accusation, made against “Our Love Frontier”… …It has been claimed by some, in one manner of wording or another, that “Our Love Frontier” exists for the intention of discrediting various minorities…most especially those of the LGBT variety, and atheists… …The EQ Foundation would like to remind listeners, that neither being in a sexual minority, nor being an atheist, is a concept owned, or under the domain, of any individual or group… …Being in a sexual minority is a state of being, which can be experienced by any person… …Likewise, being an atheist is a state of being, which can be experienced by any person… …”Our Love Frontier” is run by Steve Diamond, an individual, whose personal life experienced atheism is every bit as genuine and valid, as that of the most well known and established atheists of today… …There is nothing insincere about the inclusion of atheist content, on “Our Love Frontier”…and it is believed, that the chosen content reflects well upon atheism…that it is insightful, and enriching…and that sharing it, presents a net positive in this world… …As to sexual minorities… …The fact that there are certain groups within the sexual minorities, who are more well established, and who are often presumed “the modern face” of sexual minorities, has no bearing on the question of Minor Attracted People, youth and children, respectively existing as their own sexual minorities… …Aggressions and frustrations have been compounded, by these certain established groups attempting to distance themselves from the taint of so called “sexual deviancy”…leading to a very real perversion within the sexual rights movement…where the focus is no longer on the human rights of sexual minorities…but instead, the focus is on social and political advancement of limited groups within the sexual minorities, at the grave expense of other sexual minorities… …It’s important to understand what is really happening, whenever an outraged LGBT person, for example, arrives at “Our Love Frontier”, complaining that the activities on this blog are somehow “attacking” or “hurting” them… …In all such cases…the complainer, themselves, does not understand what is going on, either with this blog, or culturally… …”Our Love Frontier” has always functioned respectfully, with regards to sexual minorities and their issues…This includes treating the LGBT and the people it claims to represent, with a dignified respect… …”Respect” does not mean “lack of critique”, however…And the history the LGBT has sprung out of, is a lot more diverse, varied and politically incorrect, than the LGBT of today likes to acknowledge… …The EQ Foundation will not ignore the historically accurate…Nor will we fail to hold the LGBT accountable, for it’s own misdeeds… …A second angle to this, is that “Our Love Frontier” is trying to pass itself off as being part of the LGBT…This has clearly never been the case… …As part of a disenfranchised sexual minority, the person behind this blog, Steve Diamond, has exercised the right to acknowledge, and voice opinion, on relevant social issues that affect the world he lives in… …This is not an exercised right, which is up for debate…It does not require the endorsement or permission of any group… …Steve Diamond uses his voice, as a person of conscience, committed to the betterment of this world, through better understanding and co-operation of diverse social groups… …It does not matter, whether you imagine that “you” want to be associated with him, or not…His activities function entirely independent…You don’t have to assert either distance, or separation, from these activities…You don’t need to “condemn” them, over some notion that “you are saving your own skin, or that of others”… …You don’t like that Steve Diamond has expressed an opinion, positive or negative, about your beloved minority?…tough…You have no rightful place, to demand that Minor Attracted People refrain from discussing social issues that affect “you”, or your beloved minority… …These exact same issues commonly impact upon the lives of Minor Attracted People, often in more severe ways than they do with most other sexual minorities… …It is a monstrous act, to demand that Minor Attracted People not be able to speak to these issues… …It is hoped, that this statement will clear up the misunderstanding that, somehow, a Minor Attracted Person like Steve Diamond, is not allowed to discuss social issues, on the grounds that certain other people presume “this is their own, topic of domain”…for which “nobody else dare tread”… …No such subject matter exists… …As Steve Diamond is a member of still other minorities…the previous comments can be applied, in the event that morally outraged members of those minorities, also arrive with complaints… …Thank you for your time, attention and understanding…	….
