01) Republican Talks Impeaching Trump

“(CNN)Republicans are bluntly warning President Donald Trump to lay off his attacks on special counsel Robert Mueller, but there is scant support among the GOP to pass legislation that would prevent Trump from firing the special counsel.

Republican Senate leaders threw cold water Monday on passing a bill to protect Mueller, calling it unnecessary despite Trump’s increasingly scathing attacks against the special counsel and his team.
But the Republican who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Corker of Tennessee, told CNN that lawmakers should include legislation to protect Mueller on a must-pass bill to keep the government open past Friday. He warned there would be “total upheaval” in the Senate if Trump were to fire Mueller.

“I can’t possibly imagine why Senate leadership wouldn’t place a protection in this (spending bill) that’s coming through,” Corker told CNN. “That would be the perfect place for them to deal with it.”

“–A further Channel 4 investigation shows that Cambridge Analytica, recently exposed for admitting to the use of prostitutes, blackmail, and bribes, is now claiming to have run Donald Trump’s entire digital campaign during the 2016 election, raising the question of whether they did illegal things in their work for Trump.

01) Republican Mike Lee Wants to Legalize Discrimination Against the Gays

“The totally NOT gay senator from the sexually repressed state of Utah, Mike Lee, reintroduced a bill to legalize discrimination against members of the LGBT community. If passed, individuals and businesses would not be penalized for discriminating against LGBT people if said prejudice was sparked by “deeply held” religious beliefs. Nope, it’s not 2004. This is being proposed in 2018.

REPORT: The Happiest Country In The World Is…

01) REPORT: The Happiest Country In The World Is…

“Happy are the people of the Nordic nations — happier, in fact, than anyone else in the world. And the overall happiness of a country is almost identical to the happiness of its immigrants.

Those are the main conclusions of the World Happiness Report 2018, released Wednesday. Finland is the happiest country in the world, it found, followed by Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia. Though in a different order, this is the same top 10 as last year, when Norway was No. 1 and Finland was fifth…

“I think there really is a deep and very unsettling signal coming through that U.S. society is in many ways under profound stress, even though the economy by traditional measures is doing fine,” Jeffrey D. Sachs, an editor of the report, said in an interview on Tuesday. “The trends are not good, and the comparative position of the U.S. relative to other high-income countries is nothing short of alarming.”

Explaining why one country is happier than another is a dicey business, but the report cites six significant factors: G.D.P. per capita, social support, life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity and corruption levels.

Dr. Sachs noted that the happiest countries have very different political philosophies from the United States’. Most of the top 10 are social democracies, which “believe that what makes people happy is solid social support systems, good public services, and even paying a significant amount in taxes for that.”

Freedom to make life choices…social support…generosity…good life expectancy…honesty…

…Gee…Wouldn’t it be nice to have those things, in the USA?…

New Hillary Comments INFURIATE Conservatives…

01) New Hillary Comments INFURIATE Conservatives

“Hillary Clinton recalled her loss in the 2016 US presidential election during a speech at the India Today Conclave 2018 in Mumbai on Saturday.

“If you look at the map of the United States, there’s all that red in the middle where Trump won,” Clinton said. “I win the coast, I win, you know, Illinois and Minnesota, places like that.”

Clinton suggested that the portion of the US she won represents portions of the country that are thriving economically.

“I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product,” Clinton continued. “So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign, ‘Make America Great Again,’ was looking backwards.”

Should we care what Trump voters think?…

Should we care what conservatives think?…

Given the state of things, and what created a Trump presidency…these are two very different questions.

A large portion of Trump voters were not conservative…They were reacting to the rot and decay, which rules the U.S. government…thinking that voting in Trump would combat it.

People should not be tossed in with conservatives, just because they voted for Trump.

Heck…after the way that election season went…even I had a brief surge of happy adrenalin, when I came home from work to the news that Hillary had lost…It was going to be horrible news, either way…but in the moment, it felt amazing to see karma come back around just enough to take down Hillary.

I get the people who voted for Trump, who didn’t really want him as president…They thought four more years of stagnation and decline for the 99%, is something we can no longer take…They thought, we cannot allow status quo to continue.

I have absolute sympathy and respect for that perspective…I agree with it…even if I do think it was channeled in the wrong direction.

I do care what Trump voters think…They are certainly not all alike.

…Do I care what conservatives think, when they don’t care what I think?…

…I think…some people are at such an extreme…that they wont allow you to have meaningful dialogue with them…and it’s better to focus on things, and in areas, where you can make a substantive impact.

Getting marred down in the muck, over what extremists think and say…only serves to eclipse what good you could be doing.

Just to be clear…I don’t believe anyone is wrong, just for being conservative…

…But conservatism does seem to attract, many of the old extremist mindsets.

…And, yes…I agree…there are also horrible extremists within the liberal demographic.

Extremists ruin things for everyone.

Whose Famous Military Mind is Most Like Yours?…

01) Whose Famous Military Mind is Most Like Yours?

“Military history is filled with great thinkers who changed the way wars we fought, peace was won, and nations prepared for conflict. Some even influenced the way business strategy is determined. Which famous military mind is most like yours?”

This one may test your patience…

…There are way to many ridiculous questions…at least one that doesn’t even make sense…some you need to be a history buff to give an intelligent answer for…

By the time I got half way through, I was ready for it to be over…but it mercilessly dragged on…

It would have benefited from being limited to, maybe, a dozen questions.

The Results:

Norman Schwarzkopf

“You don’t believe in getting too deep into conflicts, making you a lot like the general who ran the First Gulf War, General Norman Schwarzkopf. General Schwarzkopf didn’t want to invade Iraq, knowing full well what the results of an occupation would be. Instead, he used a combination of surgical strikes and counterintelligence to move the Iraqi army into position for defeat. Perhaps one of the fastest wars in history, the First Gulf War was fought by showing inflatable tanks to Iraqi spies and passing false reports to the media, while using cutting-edge stealth bombers to pepper targets with laser-guided explosives.”

But still…I’m a “Stormin’ Norman”…Hmmm…

…I guess…That was my war, after all…It might as well be him.

…It’s not like I entered this with any preferences.

Police slammed over memo saying Telford child sex abuse was ‘consensual’…

Date: March 21, 2018

01) Police slammed over memo saying Telford child sex abuse was ‘consensual’

“Police have been accused of “victim blaming” children who were targeted by grooming gangs in the Telford sex abuse scandal.

Officers investigating child sexual exploitation in the town were sent an internal memo telling them “in most cases the sex is consensual”.

Some of the victims were just 11 years old and specialist child abuse lawyer Dino Nocivelli said: “This is victim blaming at its worst.

“The authorities just don’t seem to get it. Children cannot agree to sex.

“Just because a child is not being physically forced to carry out sexual acts, it doesn’t mean they consented.”

A person under 16 cannot be deemed in law to have consented to sex, but the word “consensual” was used to describe offences involving children four times in the memo.

When questioned about the memos West Mercia Police Assistant Chief Constable Martin Evans still referred to the issue of consent.

He said: “Any incident that is reported to us as child sexual exploitation is investigated as such and is taken very seriously, regardless of any consent which may or may not have been given by the victim.”

Ah…another one of those…

…Force the dialogue into strict submission to the law, and brow beat anyone “not with the program”.

Yes…”They who know best took a vote, and now the law says consent is impossible”…”checkmate!”…

Why is nuance so impossible for these sorts?

…It’s honestly not that sophisticated of a concept…is it?

When we discuss these kinds of issues…there’s a difference between a legal setting, and a natural setting…

…Perish the thought, that an eleven year old who just might have liked [or even loved] the sex, may have considered such a thing to be a bonus in the deal.

…”The law says no”…so…”Obviously, all laws of nature yield and warp, to the words in law books!”…

I swear…the stubborn refusal to acknowledge real world, true consent of the individual, is a form of psychological manipulation…It is an institutionalized lie, used to censor and sabotage real dialogue.

There is no reason anyone should have been offended by this type of revelation, nor those words being chosen to describe it.

…This is common sense reality.

In addition…the police don’t even give a damn, that “the victim consented”…They steamroll ahead, without a care to treat anything different…

…So…what possible good is all of this utterly useless outrage doing?…

Oh yes!…”Even the cops doing their bidding, aren’t submissive enough”…

…Refusing to use their pre-approved lexicon, challenges their “authority” to lord over how all the rest of us think, and speak about this issue.

This is why it is so critical, that we stand up and tell them where to shove their draconian “rules of speech”.

They’ll have you “hog tied, gagged and shoved in the closet”, while they go off and leisurely do as they please with out contest, before anybody else knows what happened.

We must be vigilant, and fight this social cancer.

Stand up and champion truth, no matter who does not want you to.

[Secular Detective] Demarcating Incitement: to Violence, Hatred and Examination…

Date: March 20, 2018

01) Demarcating Incitement: to Violence, Hatred and Examination

“I say that our conversation requires precision, and a concerted effort to strive towards it, because it is due to its absence, on some occasions more deliberate than others, that otherwise plainly false equivalences can be espoused and used as foundations upon which other arguments are built. When we use words such as “drove”, “radicalised”, “inspired”, “far-right”, “extremist” etc., we must do so consistently, and adhere to definitions so that our implications aren’t smuggled but are explicit and transparent. We must also acknowledge that the truth of a matter exists independently of whether, and however validly, it is argued for or against. Just because there are two opposing views on a given issue does not mean that the truth must lie between them, and where it happens to, it does not mean that it can only be found at the half-way mark. The implications arising from terms like the first three among my examples above, concern the constitution of responsibility, and its degree. I wish here to discuss whether we can conclude by implication, as Rowley does, that Tommy Robinson and others bear some responsibility for an atrocity such as that at Finsbury Park akin to that borne by Anjem Choudary for bouts of Jihadi violence.

But unless we wish to continue devaluing the meanings of our words in such conversations so that we can each rely on one another to be speaking the same language and genuinely make some progress, we must stop relying instead on such equivocations and false-equivalences to virtue-signal and score cheap points.”

Great post.

I’m most interested in the discussion of legal [as well as moral and ethical] culpability, as I’ve also recognized this being used to stifle open, free speech…speech about deeply important social issues of our time.

When it gets to the point where speech, and the people behind that speech, are grossly mischaracterized…and those same people cannot even express an honestly held thought, question, emotion, etc…something has gone dangerously wrong, within society.

…People aren’t hearing, listening, comprehending and dialoging, anymore…They are using tactics of domination, to make people they don’t want to hear from “simply go away”…which, effectively, kills all peaceful solutions…

…Peaceful solutions are what we should be pursuing.

The longer I have been out here as a MAP…the longer the list of people grows, who’ve accused me of substantive culpability in “child sexual abuse” [sexual violence against children]…despite myself holding no prior knowledge of specific incidents, never giving any assistance in such an event…never advising such behavior…never commissioning or encouraging such incidents…and always condemning any violation of the free will principle…As well as never having engaged in such violence, myself…

Some people are pissed off at me over my long history of associations and initiatives…and they think I should suffer for it, in whatever way they can manage to inflict said suffering.

It’s a sad, ruthless world we live in…when nobody can thoughtfully say anything, about the issues that impact their own lives, without being personally violated for having made the effort.

Never Distinguishing Between a Childhood Sex Life, and Being Sexually Abused…

Elephant Graphic

01) Why Kids Don’t Tell About Sexual Abuse

It seems the trendy thing to tell kids these days…is that if you have any social sex life at all, “you are being sexually assaulted” as result of your sex life.

…And we get the old misnomer…that “It’s okay to understand you own your own body”…and “have a right to say no”…But you don’t have the right to say yes…which negates the whole idea, that kids own their own bodies…Clearly, if they cannot have sexual relations for their own purposes…then they do not fully own their own bodies.

Being a sexual, human child…and living according to your own nature…is criminalized…And you’re only conditioned to say “the right things”, think “the right thoughts” and react “in the right ways”…meaning, obey the state.

It’s in this mess of a social framework, that we get the kinds of articles [or statements] like the one linked above.

I’m not up to discussing the finer points, which distinguish sex life from sex abuse [not today]…but I wanted to point out a thing or two…

These types of articles generally accept the state propaganda, and repeat it as fact…They rarely recognize any human right to sexuality, where it comes to young human beings…So, understand that any reality based discussion of human sexuality [including harmless, childhood sexuality], has already been debased and sidestepped, right from the start.

But even taking that into account…there is a massive elephant in the room, where it comes to this article…

The stated purpose of this article, is to explain “Why Kids Don’t Tell About Sexual Abuse”…

…Given that KeepKidsSafe” regards “inappropriate touching” [a terminology of state propaganda, tainting all sexual touch] as “sexual abuse”…it’s fairly safe to presume, that they are grouping even sexual touch that a child would seek out, in with “sexual abuse”…

If we are at all to be honest…we must acknowledge, that one of the reasons many children say nothing, is because they liked [or even loved] the experience, and wish to both protect it and repeat it.

Nowhere in that article, is this elephant in the room even hinted at.

Even if they don’t want children to think, act and long in that way…is it right of them to omit this basic fact of nature?

…Isn’t that dishonesty?
