“An Indonesian court is expected to decide on Tuesday whether Jakarta’s Christian governor is guilty of blasphemy against Islam, in a trial that is widely seen as a test of religious tolerance in the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation.
The government has been criticized for not doing enough to protect religious minorities but President Joko Widodo, a key ally of Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, has urged restraint over the trial and called for all sides to respect the legal process.”
So, this guy could be sent to prison for up to five years, for criticizing his opponents use of the Qu’ran during his campaign?
Why on earth does the second largest religion on this planet need protection from criticism?
Once you’ve gotten this big…unless you’ve got something to hide…criticism isn’t really going to bring your faith crashing to the ground…Certainly no time soon, anyway.
One would imagine that Muslims have enough faith in their own faith, to remain unshaken in the face of criticism…Yes?
…Or, maybe not…
…And maybe that’s the real issue?
Is Islam honestly so fragile?

“On this supersized episode of Bearded Fruit, we talk with LGBTQ writer, activist and icon Jeffrey Marsh. We talk about growing up in a small farming town in Pennsylvania. We wonder what Saturn thinks of us. And we get a healthy dose of the incredible kindness, love and generosity that makes Jeffrey Marsh an indelible icon for the queer community.”

“Just half-a-year after a federal judge tossed out three lawsuits against Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who grabbed headlines in 2015 for denying marriage licenses to same-sex couples on religious grounds, a court of appeals ruled Tuesday that the men suing Davis can continue their case.”
Just sharing a development regarding the Kim Davis case.

Personally…there is something very biologically motivated in my actions as a MAP…I realize and have experienced, the damage and conflict associated with extreme intolerance.
I condemn extreme intolerance and all the rabid viciousness that comes with it, and I personally fight against it…because this world cannot exist in peace, in the presence of such a thing.
Extreme intolerance is probably the singular worst manifestation of evil there is…Because it often takes it’s target [commonly the non-violent by nature, like lovers or intellectual pursuers of knowledge and solution], and it either destroys them along with what real good they stood to produce in the world…or it forces them to become a warrior in this fight for survival…Either way, it takes someone with a positive nature, and forces them into a personal evolution that diverts them away from what they naturally have to offer. It commonly destroys the human that once was…a type of human needed, to counterbalance the injurious impact of extreme intolerance.
There is an unspeakable tragedy in that.
…This world has so much to answer for.
…It is collectively so sick in the head, that it refuses to see it’s necessary antidote…deeper understanding and acceptance.

While I personally lean more towards Male Rights Activism, which includes the rights of both men and boys…I have got to say…It is total insanity, that anybody equates Men’s Rights Activism with “a hate group”, in their own mind.
Many people don’t like to hear this politically incorrect truth…but in today’s era, the lion’s share of hostile intolerance and degradation is coming from feminism…and their loony ideas over “Who’s born into privilege and power…Hence, who must be socially attacked and hobbled”…It’s a lot of subjective insanity…and it’s ripping our social stability apart.
You cannot live peacefully with these sorts of people, because they make it impossible to peacefully coexist with them.
…This is why so many people are frustrated and angry with feminism.
Tolerance is a two way street…Today’s feminism seems oblivious to this fact.

“Under most laws, young people are recognized as adults at age 18. But emerging science about brain development suggests that most people don’t reach full maturity until the age 25. Guest host Tony Cox discusses the research and its implications with Sandra Aamodt, neuroscientist and co-author of the book Welcome to Your Child’s Brain.”
…So…if anyone has sex with a person below the age of 25 years, hence, someone who is not fully mentally mature…if not legally, are they not at least morally a rapist?…
…If not, then why?…How, even?…How can they possibly not be?
I mean…given the current standards surrounding “what’s acceptable, concerning the not yet matured”…it would not make sense, unless such were so.
Either it’s okay for the immature to have sexual relations…or it’s not…There is no two ways about it…So, how is this double faced scheme being allowed?
And this raises some severely dark questions about the government, which makes no pause over sending 18 to 24 year olds to be slaughtered in wars…Is this not sending people who are mentally undeveloped, to their graves?…or to possible lifetime handicap and trauma? In addition, it thinks nothing of throwing them into prison for decades, or life…and all the trauma that does to them.
And we haven’t even questioned the myriad of dangerous civilian activities these undeveloped people are allowed to engage in, yet.
Such disingenuous insanity…I wonder how they split this hair…
…Do they possess the integrity, to even try?
“Protect” them from loving relationships, so that the same people who stand in judgment of people like me, can dispatch with them like some sort of chattel…
They can do objectively evil things to these kids and be celebrated as “righteous heroes”…but I can’t even gently, humanely love one kid, without being called “a monster”?…
The system is the predator…Those behind the system are the predators.
I think…the warm, kind love people like myself have to offer threatens the cold, heartless and callous agendas of the system…
…If these kids knew what affectionate love was…they’d refuse to have anything to do with the violent bloodlust of the system…They’d know there were worthwhile things to live for, and how to build a healthy, productive life…They could not be exploited by the system, and it’s selfish, cruel puppet masters.
They desperately need these kids to be haplessly detached, from the type of loving humanity that someone like myself offers.
The detachment allows them to be intentionally stunted, as kind and loving human beings…It allows them to grow cold, detached, self centered and adrift…easily manipulated by the ill intentions of the state.

“Dr. Jordan B Peterson was raised as a Christian conservative, and began questioning religion in his early teens. He criticizes the New Atheists (specifically Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris) for oversimplifying the philosophy of Christianity when making their critiques. Peterson often points to the symbolic underlying meaning of the archetypical ideas in religious mythology when explaining his understanding of religion.
He grew up in Fairview, Alberta, Canada, a small town of 3,000 people 580 km (360 mi) northwest of Edmonton, Alberta. He resided in Montreal from 1985 to 1993, where he studied under the supervision of Robert O. Pihl and Maurice Dongier. From 1993 to 1998 he lived in Arlington, Massachusetts, while teaching and conducting research at Harvard. He has resided in Toronto since 1998.
At the age of 13, Peterson had joined the New Democratic Party (NDP). He remained continually active with party until the age of 18.
He has two bachelor degrees from the University of Alberta. His first was in political science. After visiting Europe, Peterson became extremely interested in the psychological unpinning that created the circumstances of the Cold War and its origins within the Second World War. After this experience, he returned to the university to complete another bachelor in psychology.
He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from McGill University. He taught at Harvard University as an assistant and an associate professor. There he studied aggression arising from drug and alcohol abuse. During his time at Harvard, the university psychology department would frequently send any student with a strange or unusual thesis to him, as he would be willing to entertain and supervise uncommon thesis proposals.
After Harvard, he returned to Canada and took a position at the University of Toronto.
In March of 2017, Peterson was nominated for the position of Rector of the University of Glasgow. Peterson who received 442 votes came fifth in the election, losing to the Scottish lawyer Aamer Anwar who received just under 4500 votes.”
Just a thought…but maybe us MAPs exist for the evolutionary purpose, that these kids need someone to genuinely like and love them?…After all…If the child’s own parent isn’t going to, well…someone needs to.
“A lot of psychopathology is rooted in the family.”
