The Harry Potter TV show is a desperate “Hail Mary”…

….	Date: April 14, 2023 01) LINK “Word is that Harry Potter will be re-adapted as an HBOMax series with each season representing one of the books (ala Game of Thrones, at least initially). And I’ve got thoughts, and believe it or not they’re about the property and not about the original author! I haven’t gotten to do that in ages.” Though I disagree that J.K. did anything explicitly wrong, and I think her beliefs are reasonable and honest [while being grossly misrepresented], I honestly appreciate this assessment of what a new Harry Potter show faces. I still hope it goes forward, as I would find it interesting…and I would hope they don’t drop the ball, or morph it into a “based on…” series…where they feel free to remove even central characters, because the actors off screen life is “to inconvenient to work around”. I wouldn’t mind if they mixed things up a bit…as we already know the main points of the story…We don’t really want to watch the movies all over again, with tons of added scenes…do we? There needs to be some deviation…Maybe they could mix in Dumbledores back story, like they tried with Fantastic Beasts?…or even some of the other characters from that series. I’m wondering how many episodes to expect from every season…and will there be enough, to where they can write fresh stories [and story arcs] for the series?…not just retelling, but expanding in new ways. I’m not convinced it’s a “hail mary”, no…but, it does face some serious challenges. It might be to soon, yes…But, personally…I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be alive…So, in my opinion, they might as well just get on with it…I’d like to be able to watch some of it. ===	….

I’m glad Jimmy took it this way…an honest, intelligent way…

As to those out there losing their minds over this…well…Some people have a dead, pitch black hole inside them, where honest common sense, intelligence and empathy should have existed…

…and it’s filled with so much venom, that they cannot even conceive of an intimate interaction like this one, in any way but the absolute most negative and depraved.

Their minds are messed up…They don’t know how to read people, nor how to communicate with people…They don’t know how to respect people.

As to the Dalai Lamas ill dealings and the darker aspects within Hinduism [I’ve never doubted they exist]…I am certain a deep dive is warranted…I likely don’t have the time and years left to do that…but I’ll keep it in the back of my mind…

…This Specific Incident, however…there was nothing wrong with what happened…It was clearly just silly joshing.
