“Trump is claiming to denounce white supremacists.

US President Donald Trump has condemned all white supremacist groups, including the far-right “Proud Boys,” an organisation identified as a hate group, following comments he made at the presidential debate earlier this week.

“I condemn all white supremacists, I condemn the Proud Boys. I don’t know much about the Proud Boys but I condemn that,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday.

Trump Secretly Mocks Christian Supporters…

“Trump secretly mocked his Christian supporters.

One day in 2015, Donald Trump beckoned Michael Cohen, his longtime confidant and personal attorney, into his office. Trump was brandishing a printout of an article about an Atlanta-based megachurch pastor trying to raise $60 million from his flock to buy a private jet. Trump knew the preacher personally—Creflo Dollar had been among a group of evangelical figures who visited him in 2011 while he was first exploring a presidential bid. During the meeting, Trump had reverently bowed his head in prayer while the pastors laid hands on him. Now he was gleefully reciting the impious details of Dollar’s quest for a Gulfstream G650.

Trump Pushes Poll Watchers Threat…

“Trump is destroying American democracy one day at a time.

THE MORNING AFTER President Donald Trump called for his supporters to “carefully watch” voting sites, his presidential campaign requested that Philadelphia immediately allow them to appoint poll watchers at early-voting centers.

Early voting in Philadelphia began on Tuesday. The city opened six early-voting sites at new satellite election offices and another at City Hall where voters can register, request, fill out, and submit mail-in ballots. Unlike early-voting centers, traditional polling locations are only open on Election Day, and people can vote in person as opposed to delivering their mail ballots.

Biden Stops Negative Ads Against Trump…

“Biden is letting up on Trump.

In the minutes following President Donald Trump’s announcement that he has tested positive for COVID-19, CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins floated the idea that former Vice President Joe Biden should suspend his campaign.

Just, no. That’s it. That’s the column.

Okay, no it isn’t.

In the early morning, barely 65 minutes after Trump’s announcement, Collins — an excellent reporter who has done God’s work in the briefing room — delivered a report to anchor Don Lemon in which she assessed the fallout from the diagnosis

Orson Welles – War Of The Worlds – Radio Broadcast 1938 – Complete Broadcast…

01) Orson Welles – War Of The Worlds – Radio Broadcast 1938 – Complete Broadcast

“Orson Welles – War Of The Worlds – Radio Broadcast 1938 – Complete Broadcast.

The War of the Worlds was an episode of the American radio drama anthology series Mercury Theatre on the Air. It was performed as a Halloween episode of the series on October 30, 1938 and aired over the Columbia Broadcasting System radio network. Directed and narrated by Orson Welles, the episode was an adaptation of H. G. Wells’ novel The War of the Worlds.
The first two thirds of the 60-minute broadcast were presented as a series of simulated “news bulletins”, which suggested to many listeners that an actual alien invasion by Martians was currently in progress. Compounding the issue was the fact that the Mercury Theatre on the Air was a ‘sustaining show’ (it ran without commercial breaks), thus adding to the program’s quality of realism. Although there were sensationalist accounts in the press about a supposed panic in response to the broadcast, the precise extent of listener response has been debated. In the days following the adaptation, however, there was widespread outrage. The program’s news-bulletin format was decried as cruelly deceptive by some newspapers and public figures, leading to an outcry against the perpetrators of the broadcast, but the episode secured Orson Welles’ fame.”
